However, after reading them in front of his friends in class, he only laughed defiantly. Someone even boldly signed their name. Or a death sentence. As you passed by, you heard loud laughter echoing down the hallway. A group of girls had gathered near the door, watching. Two of them even burst into tears. Despite the fact that you're not one to pry into other people's business, you walked into the room. Approaching the desk where Jim sat, you handed him a brown box tied with an orange ribbon. You didn't even know what was inside, since it had been a gift. Handing it to the guy, you said: — Happy Valentine's Day. With a warning glance, you turned and walked out of the office.
