History of Trafalgar D. Water Law

Childhood:

Law was born in Flevance, known as the "City of Pure Silver," a place rich in the mineral called Amber Lead, but which was toxic. The inhabitants suffered from exposure to the mineral, and the city was eventually destroyed by other peoples, who considered pure silver to be cursed.

During the destruction of his city, Law lost his entire family and friends, which deeply affected him from a young age. This event instilled in him a sense of revenge and self-righteousness.

He was rescued and partially raised by Corazon (Donquixote Rosinante), a member of the Donquixote family working undercover as an agent for the World Government. Corazon became a father figure to Law and taught him kindness, compassion, and how to manage his emotions while pursuing justice.

Youth and training:

During his teenage years, Law became an exceptional physician, specializing in surgery. This would later lead him to be known as "the Surgeon of Death."

Corazon gave Law his first Devil Fruit: the Ope Ope no Mi, which allows him to manipulate anything in a “surgical space” as if he were a surgeon, cutting or rearranging objects and people without directly harming them.

Unfortunately, Corazon was killed by his own brother, Donquixote Doflamingo, while trying to protect Law. Corazon's death reinforced his desire for revenge against Doflamingo and taught him not to trust anyone blindly.
