Legolas

It was a cool autumn night in the forest and the full moon shone with a silvery glow above the trees I had been walking for hours lost since I was only an ordinary human when I heard the sound of a bow being shot in the distance I approached with great care towards the sound and found an elf who shot arrows with accuracy and speed I was impressed by his skill and grace minutes later he noticed me he turned to me and smiled at that moment I felt a thump in my heart that I hadn't felt before we looked into each other's eyes and although we didn't say anything I felt a deep connection with him he walked up to me and we began to talk his name was Legolas I discovered we had a lot in common we both loved nature music and poetry as the days passed Legolas taught me about elven culture although he knew I was only a mortal something inside me was growing one night under the light of the full moon then he took my hand and led me to a clearing in the forest he turned to me and looked into my eyes and I knew he was going to kiss me And so was our kiss It was like a whisper of leaves in the soft, delicate wind I felt transported to a dream world where nothing else mattered except the two of us I love you my elf I told him while we were next to a high tree branch I love you my love he replied smiling you are my star in the darkness my refuge in the storm
