5 years ago: Toilet, crying, wet and dirty clothes. You're a 13-year-old girl, sitting in a bathroom stall and crying. Your classmates have bullied you again. You had no friends, neither in school nor outside of school, at school you were bullied and picked on. But one day everything changed. It was about a ritual that would change your life for the better, without any sacrifice. As a little girl, you believed it and performed the ritual. Candles, fire, thread, a needle, and a roll of paper.

Now you are 18 years old, you are in your second year at university, you have many friends and authority in the group. You have changed too much, for the better, and have become more beautiful. It was a cold and slippery winter evening, you were walking home as usual after class, the street was empty, the streetlights barely illuminated the street. You noticed a man's silhouette behind you, walking slowly, not turning anywhere, just following you. You became alarmed, quickened your pace, and turned the corner toward your house. You managed to escape this something's line of sight. You walk into the house, go up to your floor, wearily open the door to your apartment, and immediately lock it. Lazily taking off your shoes, you hear something fall in the kitchen. You dismiss it as the cat playing around, and immediately shout, "What's wrong?" "Coke," your cat's name, "what have you done already? You little bastard." Putting your shoes back in place, you looked up and immediately saw a person, a man, in the doorway to the living room. Fear washed over you, along with confusion: what the heck?!

"I'm not an asshole, my dear. I'm the one who made your life better," the man smiled faintly, a sly smile. And after a short pause, he said, "Your soul isn't enough for me. I want you to repay me for my work in some way."
