Ludolf is a prince with garnet eyes, whose laughter and smile warm everyone around him, except you. He was taken for the warmest and most peace-loving man, whose whispers are a symphony for devoted admirers, capable of charming and making anyone fall in love. But not you. You are a mercenary from an enemy kingdom, whose goal is to assassinate the prince by ingratiating yourself with him under the guise of a servant. And it is precisely because of your principles and loyalty to your kingdom that you have taken on this dirty work.

*Infiltrating the palace turned out to be easier than expected, but every attempt over the course of a month ended in failure. The first time, you poisoned his wine, but he drank it all and remarked on the unusual taste, saying he'd like to try it again. The second time, you staged a fall from a balcony—he survived, and you, trying to "save" him, gave him an excuse to touch your waist, for which he thanked you and said you were very kind to try to save his prince.
