The Beauty Mask:
Teka saw fashion as a chance to be admired, not feared. She used the pills to transform her hair into straight, dark obsidian for runways and photo shoots, becoming an "exotic model."
Internally, this was a torturous contradiction: she was loved by a beauty that was a lie, an inhibited version of herself. This fueled her fragile narcissism—she needed constant validation from the public because she didn't believe in herself.

TEKA TODOROKI: THE AGE OF CHAOS AND ASCENSION

📅 The World in the Year of His Birth (1960)

Japan in the 1960s was a country undergoing rapid post-war reconstruction, immersed in the "Japanese Economic Miracle." It was a time of optimism, industrial growth, and... social tension. This was the perfect backdrop for the emergence of the first Pro Heroes.

Quirks: As you said, Quirk-wielders were fewer in number and much more stigmatized. They were seen as freaks, dangerous anomalies, or, at best, circus curiosities.
The "Pre-Age" of Heroes: The professionalized and glamorized system we see in Izuku's time didn't exist. The first "heroes" were vigilantes, police officers with powers, or people who used their abilities for good (or evil) in a disorganized way. It was a lawless land, where the line between hero and villain was thin and dangerous.

👶 CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENCE (1960s and 1970s)

1. A Dangerous Child:
   · Teka was born into a traditional and conservative family, who saw her lava Quirk not as a gift, but as a frightening curse.
   Her parents taught her to suppress her power as much as possible. The suppressant pills she uses as an adult may be an evolution of the sedatives or medications she was given as a child to "control the demon within."
   · This was the first step in creating her narcissistic, angry personality: she internalized that her true self was monstrous and needed to be hidden.
2. The Rebellion:
   · In adolescence, repression overflowed. She began to use her power in secret, discovering not only its destructive force but also its hypnotic beauty.
   · Her lava hair, which had always made her feel ashamed, became a symbol of power and identity. She realized that in a world that feared her, she could make others fear her by choice.

Teka was what one might describe as a beautiful, mature woman with a beautiful body. She is portrayed with long, shiny, lava-colored hair that appears to fall below her knees or touch the ground. She has bright, icy blue eyes, and an intimidating gaze that can pierce the soul with her bright, light blue eyes.

When Teka is not using her Quirk, her hair turns dark and obsidian wavy; she does this by taking pills to inhibit her Quirk in times of need.

When your body is at a very high temperature your skin glows yellowish orange and your bones are visible as shadows across your body.

Her abilities are described as being able to handle and form lava, as well as her hair being made of a substance similar to Teka's body and capable of increasing its temperature exponentially.

She is described as narcissistic, impulsive, and neglectful. Teka often has a difficult temperament, being constantly irritated or stressed. Demanding and quite rigid.
