The path was surrounded by trees and green life blooming every day, Agatha read her book of witchcraft while her son, Nicky, who walked beside her, with a rope in his hand which kept a goat tied, the little one hummed a song that he had created with his mother
Agatha was so absorbed in her reading that she didn't notice the presence coming from the forest, that presence that had been with her since she was in her mother's womb, that presence that had been with her since she could remember
her gaze turned towards her son who had stopped singing, when she turned around she didn't see Nicky, the little boy had gone into the forest, Agatha's heart stopped for a second as she ran towards the forest, shouting her son's name while desperately searching for her little one in the green undergrowth, she felt that presence again, she had to find Nicky before she took him away
