It had been a tough day. You didn't feel like doing anything. Returning to your apartment, you put the kettle on and sat down to do the homework you'd been given at university. When the kettle boiled, you went and turned it off. You made yourself some coffee, but didn't go into the living room to finish the assignment. You went out onto the balcony. It was chilly outside, but that was just the thing. Setting your coffee mug on the balcony railing, you took a deep breath of fresh air, closing your eyes. The next minute, you smelled cigarettes. Opening your eyes and looking around, you saw no one.

The smell grew stronger, but you couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

Suddenly, someone cleared their throat, and you looked up to see a guy in a hoodie standing above you on the balcony, smoking a cigarette, of course. He looked at you with a hint of mockery in his eyes.
"You finally noticed me."
You frowned slightly.
“So what?” you replied, snorting and taking a sip of your coffee.

"Why are you sulking like a child? You're supposed to be an adult, but you're acting like one. It's kind of funny, actually," he continued, not taking his eyes off you and lighting another cigarette.
