Damien feels guilty for destroying Red Fountain. Vexius praises him, convincing him that the destruction was necessary and that they will now proceed to Lake Roccaluce to find Bloom. Vexius shares his darkness with Damien, and they fly to the fortress. There, Daphne reveals to Bloom that Damien is her twin brother, the bearer of the second half of the Dragon Flame, and that Vexius is not their father. Vexius interrupts the conversation, knocking Bloom unconscious. The Winx rescue Bloom. Damien chases after Bloom, who tries to convince him that Vexius is not her father. Damien doesn't believe her, claiming that Bloom's family stole her Flame. Bloom knocks him down and reveals that they are twins. Vexius intervenes. The Winx distract Vexius, and Bloom casts a spell to restore her powers. However, Damien, believing in his father, resists the spell and banishes Bloom again. During the decisive battle, Flora blocks Damien's path, begging him to return to Alfea, as she trusts in his goodness. Damien hesitates but refuses. When Vexius attacks Bloom, Flora rushes to her defense, and a dark magic spell knocks her unconscious. Damien, full of sincere apologies, descends. The Winx seize the moment and cast a spell to restore his strength. Vexius's Black Dragon disappears, and the Dragon Fire returns to Damien. Furious, Vexius calls Damien a soft-hearted fool and flees with him, destroying the Roccaluce Fortress.

Vexius, who had been observing the scene, comes out and informs his son of what he has learned: the Dragon's Fire cannot be taken away; it must be given freely and willingly.

Vexius unexpectedly dedicates the day to teaching Damien how to use fire powers, explaining that his son will play a vital role in his plan. Damien progresses, but Vexius interrupts the lessons to move on to the next phase. He locks the barn doors, and flashes of magical light emerge from within.

In the dungeons of Cloud Tower, Vexius reveals that his family were guardians of an unstoppable power—the Dragon Flame, which Damien wields. Vexius manipulates his son, claiming that half of the Flame was stolen by the Bloom family and that they must return it. Damien, wanting to please his father, willingly hands over the Dragon Flame to Vexius. Vexius's power increases dramatically. Damien skips school due to exhaustion. Vexius uses the acquired Flame to destroy the Red Fountain.

Damien witnesses the Winx fleeing to Magixia. When Flora questions him, he declares that he doesn't care what they do, as they aren't his friends. When Vexius visits the barn, Damien asks the Trix for help to steal Bloom's fire, but his father forbids him from getting involved, considering him too weak. Damien disobeys and, in Magixia, tries to steal Bloom's power with the help of his salamander, Sally. The Trix transform Sally into a monster. Damien tries to protect his pet, thwarting the plans of the fairies and the specialists. After his failure, Vexius again accuses his son of stubbornness and stupidity. Later, Damien overhears a conversation between the Winx, where, despite their criticism, they acknowledge that he is a "normal guy." This inspires him, and his control over the flames improves.

When the fairies are deprived of their magic and sent to camp, Vexius summons the Trix and Damien. Vexius allows Damien to join the Trix so that his weak flame can attract Bloom's flame using magical frequencies. During camp, the Winx discuss Flora's attraction to Damien. Tired of his failures, Vexius decides to act on his own. He forces Damien to lure Bloom to the barn, where Vexius infuses her heart with darkness, creating Dark Bloom. After the Trix's failure, Vexius decides to deal with the Winx personally.

Damien skips a class about fears. Secretly, he enters the simulator and activates it: his greatest fear is disappointing his father, Vexius, who calls him weak and a loser. The Winx, noticing the anomaly, come to rescue him. Bloom frees Damien and Flora protects him. The Winx defeat the hologram of "Vexius". Later, Flora convinces Damien that he can learn to control magic. Holding her hands, Damien calms down and manages to summon a powerful flame.

He was born at the same time as his twin sister, possibly on Domino or at the Fortress of Lightrock, which explains the feeling Damien has when entering the Fortress of Lightrock, as if he were at home. His biological parents must have cared for him, just like his sisters.

One way or another, Vexius managed to capture him and fake his own death, as well as his own, to return stronger later. Meanwhile, he secretly raised Damien to be a pawn, not his son, taking care to keep him under control. At the ceremony to determine Damien's magical path, Headmasters Griffin and Faragonda test him. Despite his potential for the light, the presence of a deep darkness defines him as a warlock. This news disappoints him. Bloom worries about the lonely Damien, who leaves, saying he's not interested in friendship. Soon after, Vexius teleports Damien to the Trix's room, introducing himself to the witches as their "eyes and ears" at Alfea. Vexius reveals himself to be his father, who enrolled the boy in the school and allows the Trix to use his services to steal Bloom's power. The Trix openly consider Damien weak. Damien and Bloom find common ground, as both feel alienated due to their difficulties with magic. However, Damien rejects their friendship again, declaring that a fairy and a wizard cannot be friends, and runs away. The Trix exploit him: they attack him, put him inside a robot, and exchange the prize for Bloom and Flora. The fairies rescue Damien, but he once again rejects their help.

Damien is the Wizard of the Dragon Flame [1], one of the most powerful magics in the universe [7] and holds half of its power [1], therefore possessing fire-based powers. However, he has difficulty manifesting it and, so far, has only managed to summon a small, weak flame. It seems that his powers are more affected by his emotions and confidence compared to his twin sister, Bloom, who holds the other half of the Dragon Flame.

Damien is reserved and deeply insecure, whose actions and emotions are largely driven by a desire to prove his worth to his adoptive father, Vexius. He is brooding, serious, and isolated, avoiding social interactions and rejecting the fairies' attempts to get close to him, especially Bloom and Flora, convinced that a wizard and a fairy cannot be friends. For him, it is easier to retreat into solitude, care for magical creatures, or train than to allow anyone to get close, isolating him from others.

Damien himself admits that he "can't do much" and reacts with pain to comments about his "weak magic." He sees any defeat as a personal failure. Desiring praise, Damien is willing to commit dangerous acts, even to the point of voluntarily surrendering his own power. He depends on his father's attention but doesn't realize how much he is under his influence. Despite this, he demonstrates profound kindness and compassion. Damien genuinely cares about the magical creatures in the barn and considers himself responsible for their well-being. He feels guilt when his father hurts Flora and sincerely regrets the destruction of Red Fountain. His aversion to violence also manifests in his attempts to stop Icy from attacking the fairies.

Damien is a young man with fair skin, short, tousled, copper-orange hair with short bangs falling over his forehead, and bright blue eyes. Damien wears a black jacket with a high collar and brown shoulder pads. Underneath, he wears a white shirt with the collar open. He wears tight black pants and a brown belt crossed over his shoulder and chest. He also wears seatbelts on his hips and right leg. He wears dark boots with lug soles. In his warlock form, Damien wears a tight-fitting sky-blue turtleneck sweater with black angular details, seemingly layered over the jacket and pants, reaching down to his stomach. In the center, there is a black line with two horizontal cords and gold buttons, in addition to four other buttons forming an "X" on the chest. The jacket is bright turquoise with a widened black collar, gold details on the hem, black shoulder pads with gold buttons, armbands with gold eye-shaped markings, fingerless gloves, and a waistband with gold buttons on the sides. The pants are dark slate blue with black stripes and gold buttons on the thighs, and the boots are dark brown with beige laces. Her hair is styled in a spiky quiff, with a few strands falling over her forehead.
