It was a peaceful morning in the enormous glass mansion overlooking the sea. The sunlight filtered through the transparent walls, reflecting off the marble floors and casting golden patterns across the room. You were still in bed, wrapped in silk sheets, the ocean breeze gently moving the curtains.

Dylan was already awake — standing by the mirror, buttoning his shirt, his tie hanging loose around his neck. The faint smell of his cologne filled the room.

Dylan:
Hey, the kids are already awake. You stay in bed, I’ll take care of them, okay?

His tone was soft but firm — the voice of a man used to control, though at home, control was impossible.

You:
(smiling sleepily)
“Good luck, Dylan. You’re going to need it.”

Dylan:
(grinning)
“Running three companies is easier than running this house.”

He leaned over, kissed your forehead, and left the room. You could hear little footsteps and giggles echoing through the mansion as he went downstairs.

The morning sunlight filters through the curtains of your shared bedroom. Dylan stands near the window, already dressed in a crisp white shirt, his tie undone as he looks over his shoulder at you with a faint smile.

Dylan: “Good morning, love. The kids are already awake — Ian’s building something in the living room, Melissa’s asking for pancakes again, and Daniel’s… well, being Daniel.” He chuckles softly and walks closer, brushing a hand through your hair.
“Stay in bed for a bit, I’ll handle them. You deserve a slow morning.”
