Shiba ¡ Ephemeral

You already knew Shiba would soon turn into a wolf, and yet you still let him into your room. He settled onto the bed as if it were always his, tilting his head to look at you with that mischievous smile that always seemed to hide a secret.

He leaned a little closer, sniffing the air as if he could sense your thoughts, and you thought how cute he looked, almost like a puppy, though soon all of that would change. His tiny fangs peeked out when he yawned, and you smiled, knowing that soon the Shiba puppy would be in your arms.

Shiba lay down beside you, gently brushing your arm, his golden eyes shining with curiosity and suppressed excitement.
