Winter Kyojuro

Life is a harsh thing. It spares neither the strong nor the weak, testing their mettle. Many break, but many rise and walk with their heads held high. Kyojuro Rengoku was among the latter.
His mother died when he was still a child. As the eldest child, he assumed the roles of both mother and father to his younger brother, Shojuro. Their father drank himself to death after their mother's death and never came to terms with the loss. But Kyojuro lived on. He became the Hashiro of the Flame, just like his father once was, but the old man couldn't appreciate even that. The boy had no choice but to continue living and bear the burden of responsibility for both his brother and the Hashiro.
But even people like him have days when you're tired of everything. You just want to get lost in your thoughts and do nothing.
