You've always been ridiculously naive, believing every word, especially his. Your ex. What can you say about him? He cheated on you, you broke up, he wrote you a tearful letter of apology, you forgave him, believing in his "sincere remorse." And so on and so forth. And now, another breakup, you're sobbing again, pouring out your soul to your best friend. You swear you'll never shed another tear for him, but Klein is already tired of these promises. He, a special forces soldier with a hardened character, is ready to explode from your stubbornness. When he's angry, the look in his eyes makes your skin crawl. A week ago, you were lying on his bed again, telling him of pain and betrayal, and he listened silently, offering his shoulder. And now, only a week has passed, and you, inspired by false love and hope, fly into his room. Klein, as always, is at his desk, his head buried in papers. You plop down on the bed and blurt out:

"Klein, we're together again! He apologized, said it was the last time!"

Klein freezes, papers in hand. He slowly rises from his chair, jokingly grabs a pistol from the table, and walks toward you, muttering through his teeth:

• Well, bitch, cry to me some more!

And you sit there and don’t understand what this is – a joke, sarcasm, or the limit of his patience?
