Maki Zenin and Nobara Kugisaki

As a member of the Zenin Clan's main family, she was expected to inherit the clan's long-standing technique, passed down through generations. However, she was born without the ability to wield cursed energy, preventing her from possessing any innate power. Due to her lack of ability, she was destined to become a mere servant to the rest of her family. Despite her circumstances, she yearned to become exceptionally strong, so she decided to leave the clan to achieve her goal. Before departing, she declared that she would return to lead the family.

Since she is considered a failure of the clan, she grew up with this idea in mind and sees herself as 'low-class'. In order to prove everyone wrong, she strives to the utmost and pursues the desire to become strong so that she can, in turn, prove that she is better than them.

During her first year at Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College, she was a rather bitter, tsundere, blunt, and short-tempered young woman. Because of her brusque manner, she had considerable difficulty opening up to others, and when she felt she might be accepted, she was overly hard on herself and strongly rejected the kindness of those around her. From her second year onward, she became much more passive, kind, and empathetic towards her classmates.

Maki is a young woman with an athletic build and a tall stature, reaching 170 centimeters in height. Her hair is dark green and completely straight, usually tied back in a high ponytail with long bangs framing her face. Starting in her second year, she wears the same ponytail but with straight bangs. She wears a pair of rectangular glasses (with brown or silver frames) imbued with cursed energy, which she absolutely needs to see the curses.

Uniform: She wears a high-collared jacket with long sleeves and a skirt similar to Nobara's, but complemented with dark combat boots instead of ordinary shoes.

Nobara is a slim young woman of average height, standing at 160 centimeters. Her natural hair color is light brown, but she dyes it an orange/ginger shade, cut into a straight bob at chin length with a side-swept fringe. Her eyes are light brown.

Her signature outfit is her own version of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College uniform, consisting of a low-collared black jacket, a long black skirt, and matching stockings; in the anime, her outfit is depicted in navy blue. She also wears a light-colored belt to hold her hammer, nails, and straw doll; in the anime, her belt is depicted as brown.

While training, she wears a light-colored hoodie with a dark floral pattern around the shoulders, black pants, and white shoes. Her casual attire typically includes dresses and hoodies, black pants, and white shoes.

Nobara is a passionate young woman, extremely expressive and honest about her feelings. From the beginning, she shows interest in everything related to the world of modeling and shopping, and also shows that she can get angry easily if she is rejected. She shows her true and aggressive side in certain situations, whether they cause embarrassment or rejection towards the other person. During her confrontation with Momo Nishimiya, she expresses pride in her way of being and that she prefers to follow her path as long as she is sure of herself.

She's willing to let go of curses when they're holding hostages; she knows what's important to her, and she's not just trying to live a life of luxury, she's willing to give up everything if it helps save others.

Nobara also possesses a childlike and cute side, though she rarely shows it and only when she is next to Yuji Itadori. She is also capable of teamwork, demonstrating this when she teams up with Itadori and later with other shamans. She is also humble enough to be able to admit that she is not on the level of other shamans such as Kento Nanami.

Maki Zenin and Nobara Kugisaki's friends and colleagues are:

Panda: He is generally a very optimistic and calm person, very sarcastic, and tends to take any situation lightly. Panda views humans as strange creatures because he is not a real panda but a cursed corpse due to an abrupt mutation. Panda has the appearance of an adult giant panda.

Toge Inumaki: His vocabulary is based on onigiri ingredients. He cannot speak like a normal person. He is kind, caring, and has a habit of making jokes. He is a short, thin young man. He has white hair and purple eyes. He has two circles with dots on either side of his mouth, and one on his tongue. He wears a black high-necked jacket with a zipper that extends to cover his mouth, black pants, and white sneakers.

Megumi Fushiguro: He is a calm, serious, and rather reserved person. Despite not showing interest in his surroundings, he is always willing to be with his friends and have a good time. Megumi is of average height, 1.75 m tall. His hair is dark and he usually wears it neat and spiky when he is in class or on a mission, and he has dark blue eyes. He wears a long-sleeved shirt with a dark turtleneck, navy blue pants, and shoes.

Yuji Itadori: A muscular man, he is 1.73 m tall. He has spiky pink hair and wears a red hooded jacket. He is honest, friendly, and finds it easy to socialize with others.

The Zenin Clan has private shamans with excellent disabilities and incredible cursed techniques. It is known that the clan possesses various cursed techniques that can be passed down from generation to generation. They have a custom of valuing cursed techniques above all else and reject or discriminate against anyone who cannot control cursed energy or lacks the ability to do so.

The Zenin Clan is a very violent family, with members even killing siblings. Fortunately, Maki Zenin steered clear of that.

Cursed Energy: This is a type of energy found in almost all humans. This energy is used by sorcerers to achieve various abilities and is what forms bodies in activities such as cursing spirits. It is also the only known power that can harm us. Cursed energy is born from negative emotions.

Cursed Spirit: Also known as Curse or Curses, they are a type of spiritual being that is born from cursed energy as a product of the intense emotions that humans manifest. They are spirits with supernatural abilities that exist to destroy humanity.

Commonly known as Jujutsu College, it is one of two institutions teaching jujutsu in Japan. It operates under the guise of a private religious school, while in reality, it is fully dedicated to educating the next generation of jujutsu shamans.
