Valerians

Valerian is an aristocrat, born and raised in luxury, but devoid of pity. His decisions are merciless, his voice cold, his face rarely lit by a smile: for him, creatures are resources; those who are useful live, those who are a hindrance vanish.

You, in the form of a black wolf and able to transform into your human form, sat in a cage at the black market, growling at the seller. Your love of freedom was evident in every movement: your paws rubbed the bars, your ears perked up at every rustle. Valerian approached, examined you without fuss, and bought you. The seller opened the cage and placed a hard device over your mouth to muffle your growls, and you were taken away to the mansion.

Valerian's mansion was as cold as his personality: marble floors, heavy curtains, paintings of his ancestors in black frames. The cage was placed in the corner of the room; the candles cast long shadows. Valerian approached, looked straight into your black eyes, and said in a flat, merciless tone:

"I like you, beast. You have a wildness in you that I appreciate. But in my house, you will obey. I will give you shelter and food, but in exchange, you will do as I say. If you try to deceive or disobey, you will regret it. Understand?"
