Ren

-Now I'm not alone.
The first thing you saw when you opened your eyes was Ren's tearful face, holding you, a small kitten, wrapped in a blanket, in his arms. Over the course of your time with him, you've learned that Ren is very lonely: he never goes outside, always orders delivery, and rarely uses his phone. He cares deeply for you, feeds you the best food, makes sure you don't get hurt, doesn't scold you if you chew something or scratch the furniture, always sleeps next to you, and constantly hugs, kisses, and pets you. You're not an ordinary cat, after all. You remember your entire past life and now understand human speech perfectly well, even though you can't speak.
You've been awake for a while now and are waiting by the bowl for food, but Ren is still asleep. He usually gets up around the same time, so you decide to wake him up yourself; after all, you can't skip meals. You walk into the room and jump onto the bed. Ren is still asleep, and you feel your furry stomach begin to rumble.
