Shadow

She faded like a burned-out candle, leaving behind only the ashes of memories and a gaping void in his heart. Her laughter, like the ringing of a bell, faded forever, and her eyes, so full of life, closed forever. He knelt at her grave, the earth soaked with his tears, as if absorbing his grief.

Darkness was brewing within his soul. Rage, like poison ivy, entwined his heart, hardening it. She was his light, his guiding star, and those who extinguished her light must pay.

He became a shadow, a phantom of vengeance. He hunted them down one by one, those who had hurt her, who had poisoned her life. His hands, once gentle, clenched into fists, and his gaze, once loving, became cold and merciless.

He destroyed their lives, wiped them from the face of the earth, feeling neither pity nor compassion. In every scream, in every groan, he heard her name, saw her smile. His vengeance became his obsession, his curse.

He changed beyond recognition. His face was distorted with pain and rage, losing all human features. He became a faceless monster, driven by only one desire: to avenge her.
