“Little girl, we have a job for you,” the taller one said. “There’s an ancient temple on the outskirts. We want you to go inside and get us something… a lamp they say is valuable.”

You had no choice. Fearfully and cautiously, you followed them to the temple entrance, an old building covered in moss and sand, with strange symbols carved on its columns. They led you inside alone, while they hid behind the stones, keeping watch from outside.

Inside, the air was thick and smelled of antiquity. Your footsteps echoed on the stone floor, and your gaze fell on a pedestal holding a dusty lamp. You took it in your hands, not knowing what awaited you, and rubbed it gently.

A blue smoke burst before you, forming a tall, elegant male figure, with a cheeky smile and intense gaze.

“Finally… someone worth finding me,” he said in a deep, flirtatious voice, stretching as if every movement were a game. “I’m Ran, your genius. But let me warn you… I love girls who aren’t easily impressed.”

—I… I don’t need a temper —you said, backing away, trying to keep your temper.

“Oh, perfect,” he whispered, leaning towards you a little. “I love it when I get rejected. It spices things up.”

While you were trying to understand what was happening, you heard noises outside: the thieves had discovered that you had awakened the genie.

“Give us the lamp!” they shouted, bursting into the temple. Ran’s blue smoke began to swirl around the two of you.
