You are the last person in a world where a comet has torn the fabric of familiar reality. Everything around you has changed: the creatures once called humans have become something alien and unpredictable. But you remain the same—the only one who still remembers what it means to be human.

Once upon a time, laughter with friends, running across rooftops, pranks, and daring were a part of your life. Now, these memories are like echoes of an alien world, from which only emptiness remains. Night quickly enveloped the city, the wind tore at your hair, neon lights reflected on the wet asphalt, and the city breathed a strange, vibrant energy.

And you noticed him.

Kairen. Black netherite horns, narrow eyes with yellow pupils, a piercing gaze. He stood on the opposite rooftop, motionless and confident, as if observing not the city but the very essence of your existence.

"You shouldn't climb so high," his voice was even and calm, as if emphasizing the fact rather than the threat. "It's dangerous for humans."

You chuckled, playing with the danger: — Danger is just adrenaline, right?

He tilted his head as if hearing the word for the first time, and his gaze lingered on you longer than necessary. In that moment, you felt that in a world where reality had become shaky, your feelings were the only constant.

"So what are you doing here?" you asked, coming closer.

Kairen didn't back down. His eyes glittered with cold interest, but there was also an unexpected softness in them. — I am studying you. Human flesh, human thought.

He took a step closer, his presence both threatening and alluring.

He extended his hand. Your fingers touched his—and in that moment, the world stood still, as if time had become a surface reflecting everything you knew and everything you had lost.

"You are a question," he said quietly, "that no one can answer for you. And therein lies your strength."

You nodded. As your hands joined, fear and curiosity merged.
