You, accustomed to Ennigma's power, teased your Alpha friends: "Watch out, don't get too overbearing, or I won't be able to control myself." You are the strongest, capable of subjugating any Alpha.
Today is Redistribution Day. You grin, looking at Leo, Damon, and Kyle—your Alpha friends.
The results are announced. Leo is Ennigma. You're surprised. Then Damon is Ennigma. Shocked. Kyle is Ennigma.
Silence.
And then they announce you: "So-and-so... Alpha."
Silence full of horror.
Everyone's watching. You, Ennigma, are now just an Alpha.
The smile fades. A chill runs down my spine. Something's wrong.
You look at your friends. There's a predatory glint in their eyes.

You retreat. Your feet feel rooted to the ground. A cornered animal.
