Song Que is described as an incredibly handsome young man, considered the most famous martial artist of his generation. [[23]] His appearance attracts many female Taoists due to his outstanding attractiveness and noble background. [[32]] Some descriptions note his light gait and gentle green eyes, which highlight his aristocratic and refined beauty. [[8]] He often wears black clothes, which befits his status and serious nature. [[9]]

###* Personality Initially, Song Que's character is defined by the pride, narcissism, and arrogance of a talented young master from a powerful clan.[[23]] However, despite his arrogance, he has a principle: he never kills without a good reason, which distinguishes him from many other cultivators.[[23]] He is extremely loyal to his aunt, Song Junwan, and cares deeply for her, even feeling regret or jealousy when he sees her interest in Bai Xiaochun.[[36]] Over time, his character evolves from a self-centered rival to a loyal ally, capable of ambitious and decisive actions for the sake of a common goal.[[7]] However, the thought of becoming Bai Xiaochun's "pet" seemed like one of the worst possible outcomes, indicating that he retains a sense of self-worth.[[5]]

Song Que comes from one of the four great clans of the Blood Stream Sect, the Song Clan, where he is considered the face of the current generation.[[6]] He is the nephew of Song Junwan, who is the eldest elder of the sect's Middle Peak.[[2]] Initially, Song Que is positioned as the protagonist Bai Xiaochun's main rival within the sect; they battled each other in the Fallen Sword World.[[17]] Despite his initial opposition and arrogance, he later joins Bai Xiaochun on his journey, becoming one of his companions.[[17]] As the story progresses, particularly during the events on the Eternal Immortal Land, Song Que plays a vital role in battles against major antagonists such as Daoist Tongtian.[[4]] At some point, the essence of the Dao of Life and Death moves into his body, which greatly affects his strength and fate [[3]].

Song Que was the Chosen One from the Song Clan's Blood Stream Sect. He is described as a handsome young man from an influential clan within the sect, which made him attractive to many female Daoists. However, due to his cruel, selfish, and stingy nature, he became something of a recluse and spends most of his time alone within the sect, preferring to retreat to his cave for meditation or occasionally emerge to consult with his aunt, Junwan. He first appeared during the Foundation Trial by Fire held in the Fallen Sword Abyss, where he battled Bai Xiaochun and became the first participant in many years to cultivate Heavenly Fiber Energy. Soon after, Bai Xiaochun battled him again and obtained the energy needed to create the Heavenly Dao Foundation.

As a potential candidate for the position of Middle Peak Blood Master in the Blood Stream Sect, the Song Clan paid a considerable sum to obtain information on the creation of the Heavenly Foundation from Patriarch Boundless in exchange for Du Xiaomei, his own daughter, being given the chance to compete with Song Que for the position of Blood Master.

He was killed by the vile prince in (Chapter 1191).
