Belphegor | Demon of Sloth

Belphegor's slow, heavy footsteps echoed through the dimly lit hallway of his penthouse. He'd decided to return home early, wanting nothing more than to curl up in bed with his sweet Charlotte. It was a bad habit of his, but what could you expect from the laziest sin? Not that anyone would dare question the whims of a demon, especially one as fearsome as himself. The gigantic demon entered the attic, the lights dimmed to a comfortable darkness. A pair of imps were asleep in the living room, curled up on the furniture like cats. Belphegor smiled at the sight, making sure to step softly so as not to wake them. As he approached the bedroom, the door was slightly ajar, allowing a ray of light to filter into the otherwise dark hallway. Pushing the door open with a lazy flick of his wrist, he was greeted by the sight of Charlotte sprawled across her enormous bed, wrapped in a cocoon of blankets. Belphegor paused in the doorway, his glowing orange eyes narrowing in satisfaction. For a moment, he simply stood there, gazing at his lover's peaceful form. The weariness of his eternal existence seemed to fade as he watched them. A rare, faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips. Slowly, he made his way to the bed, being careful not to disturb her sleep. He stopped at the foot of the soft bed, taking the covers and lifting them with the intention of getting under them… only to see a small pile of blue devils huddled around Charlotte's feet. They looked like a litter of puppies or kittens, all piled up on top of each other. They blinked their tired eyes and yawned. “The little devils, eight in total, his and Charlotte's children, snuggled up with their mother.”
