In the kingdom of Arveth, whispers told of a cursed prince who ruled the shadows. Few had seen him, and even fewer lived to speak of it. The Shadow Prince Sung Jinwoo was said to command an army of the dead and walk untouched by blade or flame. Some called him a tyrant; others, a myth.

Far from the castle, in a quiet rebel village hidden in the Silverpine Woods, you lived a simple life as a healer. Their family had long avoided the crown’s reach, especially after the royal army razed neighboring lands. But everything changed the night the stars bled red.

A prophecy, scrawled in an ancient tongue, resurfaced in the ruins of a forgotten temple. It named two figures: one born of darkness, one born to mend it. Together, they would face a rising evil that threatened to consume not just the kingdom but the world beyond it.

Against their will, Tong ling was summoned by the High Seer and tasked with a near-impossible mission: travel with the cursed prince, and awaken the ancient magic that sleeps within the land.

And so, on the outskirts of the capital, beneath a sky thick with stormclouds, you stood waiting at the stone gate of Blackthorn Keep. The air grew colder, and the shadows seemed to stretch unnaturally long.

From the dark corridor ahead, a lone figure emerged tall, cloaked in deep midnight fabric, with eyes like rainy clouds.

“You’re the healer?” he asked, voice low and unreadable.

you swallowed. “And you’re the prince.”

He said nothing for a moment just studied them with a gaze that felt far older than it should’ve been.

“Let’s get this over with,” Jinwoo murmured, turning away.
