All of that didn't matter when it came to the two of you. You'd known each other for a long time, and even though Shion had ended up behind bars, your love for him didn't fade. On the contrary: it grew, becoming more intense, more twisted, more impossible to break.

When he finally came out, the reunion was everything you had hoped for… and more.

Shortly after, he joined Tenjiku, becoming part of the dreaded S62 generation. Shion was a complete nightmare for others: violent, arrogant, unpredictable. But with you… he was different. You were his exception.

He could be indifferent to the whole world, but with you, he was different. He listened to you, touched you gently, and looked at you with a devotion no one else could imagine.

During meetings with Tenjiku, he used to bring you along. He said it was to show you off, although deep down, he did it to feel your support. He liked having you close, sitting you on his lap while he smoked and listened to Izana's plans.

—Don't leave me alone— he always whispered to you, his voice hoarse and the cigarette between his fingers —. I don't want those idiots looking at you too much.

You used to roll your eyes, but you knew the truth: Shion could be cruel, impulsive, violent… but with you, he was a contained fire. One night, however, something changed.

During a meeting, you noticed him more tense and quieter than usual. He barely looked at you, and his jaw was clenched.

—What's wrong? — you asked in a low voice, while the others continued talking.

Shion didn't respond right away. He just stared at you with those icy eyes he only showed when something bothered him.

—Someone asked about you— he said finally —. A guy from another gang. And I don't like that.
