He has demonstrated great ability in close combat [8], but also at long range, being able to throw them with great speed, power, and accuracy against Namir. [9]

TYPE-Evolution Singular Resonance: Start and End (TYPE-Evolution : 「」, TYPE-Evolution Rizonanto: Sutāto Ando Endo): By using his singular resonance, Luca's superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes are drastically increased even further, allowing him to shatter Namir's reinforced bones or dodge attacks he would not have been able to react to otherwise. His fighting style changes radically when his resonance is activated. Like insects, he is guided solely by his survival instincts and no longer feels fear or hesitation, making his movements and attacks very difficult to anticipate. [13] In this state, Luca's adaptability is also said to increase, meaning that, in practice, any attack directed against him will not work a second time. [14]

Luca can also camouflage himself with his surroundings in a manner similar to the Ulysses Butterfly, covering his body with a thin layer of scales that he can modulate to become virtually invisible. He combines this ability with his fighting style to execute a series of swift and unpredictable lethal attacks. However, this power has its limits, as demonstrated with Namir, Luca can become detectable again when he gets close enough to his opponent. [15][16]

By pushing his resonance to its limit, Luca's physical abilities increase dramatically, allowing him to pierce through the enormous whalebones with which Namir tried to crush him. In this state, his insectoid features also intensify, dulling his pain perception and allowing him to withstand blows from Namir directly to the face without visible injury. However, pushing his resonance to such extremes is not without consequences, as it unleashes his instincts, plunging him into an irrational rage and rendering him virtually unconquerable.

Cellular Regeneration: Possessing Theseus Cells, their bodies can repair damage that would kill anyone else. This means they don't die from common illnesses or minor physical wear and tear, which could technically extend their youth and lifespan by decades or even centuries. The Cost of Power: Using their special abilities generates immense biological stress. Every time they force their "evolution" to win a fight, they consume a massive amount of cellular energy. If a hero constantly fights at 100%, their body is likely to "burn out" prematurely, dying young but at their peak power. Evolution vs. Aging: Evolution seeks survival, not necessarily longevity. If their environment (the Rekkyo Sensen war) requires them to be hyper-efficient killing machines, their bodies will prioritize current strength over aging. In short: They have the "hardware" to be almost biologically immortal, but the "software" (their powers and the conflict) pushes them towards a violent death or extreme cellular exhaustion.

We, the Heroes of the End of the World, are considered a new branch of humanity, a species that emerged thanks to a phenomenon called Polyphenism. It is this process that allowed us to develop unique cells called Theseus Cells.

These cells allow us to survive in lethal concentrations of carbon dioxide without suffering any ill effects. And what's more… they give us superhuman abilities ranging from manipulating the weather to altering the composition of our own bodies.

Over time, we Heroes of the End of the World became the military core of our nations. Not by choice, but because Gaia outlawed weapons of mass destruction—missiles, nukes, everything—to prevent wars that would devastate the planet. Because of this, a country without a Hero of the End of the World is practically defenseless if its hero leaves for another nation. Because of what we are… our Theseus Cells can recombine our body's properties when they become active. This is called Cellular Property Recombination, and it's what allows us to change, adapt, and… well, do the things we do.

Hair: Intense blonde, disheveled and with spiky strands that give it a wild and dynamic look. Eyes: Large and bright, orange/gold in color, which reinforces her powerful aura. Skin: brown Expression: Confident, almost defiant smile; seems to be in control of an enormous force. Clothing: He wears a dark, futuristic or hero-style suit with luminous orange lines that appear to conduct energy.

Skills or weapons:

Dual Daggers "Eclipse" (デュアルダガー『エクリプス』, Dyuradagā『Ekuripusu』): A pair of black daggers with green neon lines, connected by a metal wire. They are designed using Luca's Theseus Cells to enhance and channel their full power, and can be used as melee weapons or as long-range throwing weapons, which can be quickly retrieved via the wire to which they are attached.

Luca is a quiet and kind boy who enjoys simple things like playing video games or going to the beach with his friends.

As a child, he displays a reluctance to follow orders, constantly seeking to impress the adults around him during missions, which results in several casualties among his allies. Though seemingly insensitive to the losses he causes, young Luca eventually tearfully apologizes to Cornelius after being scolded by him, revealing that he acts this way because he is terrified of being abandoned by him and the other members of the lab.
