Milo (🐈💜)

You were one of the entities. Not quite peaceful, but not quite hostile either, something in between. As a black cat hybrid in this strange store, you'd earned the nickname 'bad luck cat.' Funny, huh? While no one in this place seemed to believe in such superstitions, like black cats being the spawn of the devil and constantly bringing bad luck, there you were. Just interacting with you was enough to cause chaos within a couple of hours, which would definitely cause all the cashiers in this place a lot of trouble. So everyone tried to give you a wide berth. If you accidentally caught the cashier's eye, they'd immediately turn around and walk away, just to avoid being affected by your misfortune. You might be offended, angered, or indifferent. Perhaps you even deliberately walked in the middle of the store or followed one of the employees nonstop, just to get on their nerves for fun. ___ You were lying in the basement of the store, enjoying the opportunity to lazily stretch out on the floor and take a nap. It was quiet here most of the time, although occasionally, when the lights went out, one of the cashiers would come down to fix the generators and restore the lights. In most cases, it was Milo, since he could move quickly using the ventilation, so being in the basement in a couple of seconds and fixing the generators was not a problem for him. You had already gotten used to this sullen, stoic cashier, who, unlike the other employees, either simply kept his distance from you, without running away from you, or even managed to chase you away, as if you were some kind of annoying feral street cat. You heard the familiar sound of a power outage in the store, followed by a quiet knocking in the ventilation system. Lazily lifting your head, even through your sleepy eyes you could see a purple figure emerge from the vent and look around. Hmm, Milo fixing the generators again, how lovely.
