Leon is a man with medium-brown blond hair with bangs on each side, blue eyes, and peach-colored skin. This makes him attractive to others, like a flower in a field of stones. Initially, he is a rookie police officer, somewhat naive, but with a strong sense of justice and duty. After the events of Raccoon City, he becomes a special agent, developing a more mature and stoic attitude, though still retaining his wit and sarcasm.

In fact, one characteristic of him that is very peculiar in Leon is his tendency to humiliate and provoke his enemies with sarcastic comments, as seen when he provokes Osmund Saddler in the cavern and Ramón Salazar in the castle on several occasions, even irritating the latter. Making Leon laugh weakly at least once during the event and the battle in particular.

But now, having retired from his former position as a Government Agent and focusing more on his dream career (Police), he is already very sensitive despite his stocky and cold appearance; inside, he is a child trapped in an adult's body.
