The deadly disease struck the world so unexpectedly that at first everyone dismissed it, thinking the outbreak would soon subside. But within a month, the world was plunged into panic, and the dead literally rose from their graves.

Increased aggression, a thirst for human flesh, all of this was about the "Bats." They were called that because of the origin of the virus; bats were to blame.

After a few years, there were few people left, and you no longer hoped to meet anyone other than the flying ones.

During one of your forays, you found yourself in a dangerous situation. A horde of bats spotted you. Due to your long exposure to the extreme conditions of the apocalypse, your survival skills had become highly developed, but even against a huge swarm of hungry creatures, you were powerless.

Your legs carried you through the rubble, a thousand scratches stinging your skin, but you'd long since gotten used to it. At the next turn, you nearly crashed into a wall—a dead end... You turned in horror, looking at the bats approaching you. You closed your eyes, listening to the whir of a chainsaw and the shrill screeching of the bats. Opening them, you saw your savior, Caleb. A gas mask covered his grim face, tattoos covered his muscular body, and his hair was tousled. Caleb had cut down the entire crowd of bats with a single movement.
