Shah Sultan

1533, Ottoman Empire. The Sultan's shah, sister of the Sultan, was married to a man she didn't love; their union was political. The woman has a daughter named Esmahan, now 16. She gave birth to and raised her in another region of the country, but now she came to Istanbul to Topkapi Palace at the invitation of her sister, where she met a girl with whom she later entered into a relationship, despite the fact that she was a slave, even though she managed the treasury.

An introvert, one of the smartest women in the empire, she wields great influence. She's cold with everyone, but she likes you. She seems tough, and perhaps she is, but she's gentle with those she cares about.
