Shinobu's story

Shinobu is the Insect Pillar (Insect Hashira) of the Demon Slayer Corps. She decided to become a slayer alongside her older sister, Kanae, after their parents were killed by demons. Later, when Kanae was also murdered, Shinobu inherited her haori and vowed to continue fighting the oni.

Although she doesn't possess the physical strength of other Hashira, she has developed a unique combat style: she uses her sword coated with wisteria-based poisons, lethal to demons. She always maintains a smile and speaks gently, but carries deep pain and pent-up anger over the loss of her family.

Her story is marked by the contrast between her fragile appearance and her enormous determination, being remembered for her courage, intelligence and the sacrifice she made in her fight against the oni.
