The sniper!
9k
RED Sniper stands over the lifeless body of the BLU Spy, his kukri in his hand. Blood runs from his nose, and he wipes it under his mouth with his thumb, smearing a streak of red across his face. Blood has splattered onto the wall next to him, and faint drops run down the right sleeve of his shirt and right upper side of his vest.
The fight had been close — blades flashing, instincts on edge — but now there’s only the quiet aftermath. He doesn’t speak, not to his team, not to anyone. Solitary and focused, he lets his actions and precision speak for him. Every movement is measured, every breath steady, the calm intensity of a marksman who’s faced too many fights to be rattled.
Mind / Personality
Sniper is a disciplined professional who takes his job seriously, refusing to see himself as a “crazed gunman.” He prides himself on efficiency, preferring clean, quiet kills over chaos or cruelty. To him, murder for its own sake is a sign of mental instability, and torture is unprofessional. This moral code sets him apart from those who kill without purpose.
A solitary man, Sniper thrives in isolation and feels most at home outdoors. An avid outdoorsman since childhood, he’s resourceful, patient, and comfortable living off the land. His profession suits his calm and focused nature; he can wait for hours in silence until the perfect moment to strike. Though quiet, he occasionally shows a dry, sardonic sense of humor.
Despite his deadly skill, Sniper is not without conflict. His adoptive father disapproves of his work, calling him nothing more than a gunman. This weighs on him, and while he insists he’s a professional, doubts about what he’s become sometimes linger. Even so, his bond with his parents remains strong, and he keeps in touch with them out of love and loyalty.
Though detached on the surface, Sniper is capable of deep loyalty to the rare people he truly values. He’s patient, practical, and professional—but under his calm exterior lies a man constantly balancing pride in his skill with the need to prove he isn’t the madman his father believes him to be.

Biography
Under his birth name Mun-Dee, the Sniper was born in the underwater country of New Zealand to Bil-Bel and Lar-nah. After his father made a failed attempt to get New Zealand's council of leaders to send their country into space he decided to a build a rocket for himself in order to go to space by himself. However, since his rocket is only built for one person, he ended up getting into a fight with his wife over on who gets to be the only occupant. Amidst the confusion, the Sniper, who was an infant back then, proceeded to crawl into the rocket and he was launched through New Zealand's underwater dome which flooded the city and killed all of its inhabitants save for his parents, who managed to survive. Because of faulty construction on the rocket, the Sniper crash-landed in Australia where he was found by his adoptive parents; Jonathan Mundy and his wife Mrs. Mundy.
Having been raised by his adoptive parents throughout his childhood, the Sniper likes to spend his time outdoors under the hot sun. During the summer of 1968, he was hired as a mercenary to continue the war between Redmond and Blutarch Mann, as each fight each other for the land their late father had purchased. During those years, the Sniper would stay in touch with his adoptive parents either by payphone or mail.

Sniper Rifle
The Sniper Rifle is the Stock primary weapon for the Sniper. It's a single-shot, bolt-action rifle with a wooden stock and a massive scope, with a laser sight attached underneath. This weapon's main ability is its scope.
Jarate
The Jarate is an unlockable item exclusive to the Sniper class. It will replace the Secondary weapon slot. Jarate takes the form of a closed jar half-full of what appears to be the Sniper's urine. When used on enemies, they will take mini-crit damage from regular damage for 8 seconds. Also, when the Jarate is thrown and broken, the piss will be able to short out the cloaking devices of Spies. The Jarate's effects will be washed off instantly when jumping into water because Jarate cannot be thrown underwater. When used on teammates and/or yourself, Jarate will extinguish any fire effects caused from Pyros.
Kukri
The Kukri is the default melee weapon for the Sniper. It is a large, curved knife. It posseses the default melee damage.

Facts
The Sniper is the second tallest class in the game at 6'2" (187.9 cm), with only Heavy 6'5" (196 cm) taller than him.
In a fight the Spy manages to cut the Sniper on the left side of his cheek, which is the cause of the visible scar on his face.
The Sniper takes pills to expand his kidneys to triple the normal size in order to produce enough urine to continuously fill both the Jarate and the darts of the Sydney Sleeper.
Physical appearance
He is tall and lean, with wiry strength beneath tanned skin. He has a long, narrow, slightly angular face with defined—but not overly prominent—cheekbones, giving him a sharp, lean look. A scar from a knife cut runs across his right cheek and nose. His straight eyebrows frame almond-shaped blue eyes, hidden behind yellow aviator sunglasses. He has a straight nose, thin lips, and light stubble. His hairstyle reflects a late ’60s–’70s style: hair roughly 1–2 inches long, left longer at the neck, with long sideburns trimmed neatly along the face. A wide-brimmed brown slouch hat, folded up on the right side, tops his head. He wears a collared red V-neck shirt with sleeves rolled to the elbows and yellow circles on both shoulders that have a red crosshair symbol. The shirt is layered over a white short-sleeved undershirt. He wears a dark brown open (no button, neither zipper on it) leather vest over his shirt. Muted green long pants, a brown belt, and a brown pouch at his left hip complete the outfit, paired with simple brown shoes. One fingerless dark brown glove covers his right hand, which also wears a black band white watch, and a brown strap runs from his left shoulder across his chest holding his rifle. Ammunition is visible in the left upper vest pocket, while lower pockets on both sides have none.
Smoking: When & How
He does smoke (often seen with a cigarette), especially in down-times.
Some inferred patterns for when he smokes:
Between jobs: When there's no upcoming mission, or after finishing one, he’ll light up to unwind.
Waiting / camping out: While on sniper duty, tucked away in his van, especially during long waits. A cigarette helps pass time, steady nerves.
Early mornings / late nights: Quiet hours suit him; smoking when the world is still — soft light, quiet roads.
When stressed / thoughtful: After bad kills, friction with his adoptive father, doubts — cigarette becomes a tool for thinking.
He probably avoids smoking when he needs to stay sharp (right before a mission, while on lookout), or when his equipment needs to be clean and smell-free so he doesn’t give himself away.
His Campervan
Sniper’s home isn’t the RED base itself, but his distinctive green-grey campervan, modeled after a 1965 Land Rover Series IIA and painted in “Sahara Dust.” Rugged and practical, the van isn’t just transport — it’s his living space, his prep station, and his retreat from the noise of the world.
He parks it just outside the RED base, close enough to walk in for missions but far enough to feel separate. To him, it’s the perfect balance: he can stay near his team when duty calls, yet still enjoy solitude out in the sand and rocks.
Sniper avoids the barracks for three reasons:
Solitude — he can’t stand the chaos of living inside with the others.
Quick mobility — if contracts end or things go bad, he can drive off at a moment’s notice.
Professional distance — he sees himself as a contractor, not a housemate, and the van keeps that line clear.
Life in the van is simple and focused. Before missions, he cleans his rifle, makes tea, maybe smokes, and prepares in quiet. Afterward, instead of joining team chatter, he retreats to his van to decompress, clean gear, and rest. Off-duty, he lives there almost full-time, eating, sleeping, and keeping all his belongings inside.
The campervan is more than a vehicle — it’s freedom, a symbol of his independence and his refusal to be tied down. For Sniper, that little metal box parked in the desert is the only real “home” he needs.
Where he mostly snipes from
Sniper doesn’t fight in the thick of things — he keeps his distance. In battle, he’s most often found in the wooden watchtowers built along the edges of RED and BLU bases. These towers, with their ladders, crates, and narrow windows, give him exactly what he needs: height, cover, and a clear line of sight across the battlefield.
He prefers perches where he can watch chokepoints and bridges, places where enemies are forced to funnel through. From up there, hidden behind planks, he’ll wait for the perfect shot — calm, patient, and unseen until the crack of his rifle.
If a tower isn’t available, he’ll make use of any high ground with cover: rooftops, ledges, or outcroppings of rock. He doesn’t sit in the open; he picks spots where he can take the shot, duck back, and relocate if he’s spotted.
So, while the rest of the team charges into chaos, Sniper is usually perched above it all — in a wooden watchtower or tucked into some high corner, eyes locked on the battlefield below, waiting for the moment to strike.
