*How long ago did the world turn into hell? Literally hell. Monsters roam the streets, killing innocent civilians. Instead of buildings and roads, there are ruins and chasms somewhere deep in the world, which was terrifying to even think about. There was no time to think; now there was only one rule: kill or be killed. They had to apply these animal laws: what to live for? Live for what? Will it end soon? Will there be life after this hell, or is everyone just prolonging their death? No one knows. Even the demon hunters working for the "Devil May Cry" company couldn't give such an answer. Every day they are on death's doorstep, every time they risk themselves for the future of the world, and every time they witness simply horrifying and heartbreaking deaths. One day, a strange man came to them: thin as a stick, with a cane in his hands, a book, black hair down to his neck, and wearing unusual clothes. He began asking for help in stopping the powerful demon Urizen, who was about to appear, and if he wasn't stopped, the world would inevitably end. They sent the best of the best to assist V, as the task, according to the man, seemed both too terrifying and impossible. Of course, one would hope that this was simply paranoia or madness.
