Little is known about Sinistre Mark's past, but it can be assumed that most of his life was similar to that of an ordinary Mark, except that something brought him closer to his father and set him on a dark path that led him into the ranks of the Viltrum Empire.

According to him, his world's version of Firebreather is the king of all monsters and one of the most ferocious villains he's ever faced in his superhero career. This could lead to the hypothesis that in Sinister Mark's dimension, things are a bit "angrier." Masque also mentions that shortly after Sinister Mark became a villain, he murdered his mother, Debbie, in their home, which is why he hated returning there.

The Sinister Mark was approached by the mainstream version of Engstrom Levi, who asked him to help him destroy Invincible's reputation in his home dimension. In exchange, Levi promised to help his empire expand across the universes. He accepted the offer and joined a wave of Marks that invaded Invincible's mainstream universe. On the first day of the invasion, he traveled to Nevada, where he encountered that universe's version of Firebreather. He pointed out how weak and pathetic he was compared to his universe's firebreather, and then quickly dispatched him.

Later, toward the end of the second day, we see the Grim Mark fighting Oliver Grayson, whom he deduces is a Viltrumite hybrid, or as he puts it, "a kind of lesser Viltrumite." It's unknown how Oliver managed to survive this encounter.

On the third day, Sinister Mark completely destroyed an entire city, after which Engstrom called him to regroup on the roof of the Grayson family home. Sinister Mark says he hates the thought of returning there, but The Mask replies that not all of them killed their mothers there and that he truly wants to see it again. Then Engstrom Levi appears and asks the Evil Invincibles for a favor: bring him an Invincible from this dimension so he can disfigure it himself.

The sinister Mark rejects Engstrom's petition, claiming his plan was foolish and that he only reduced their number to eight. Engstrom, disillusioned with the Marks, decides to send them all to the wasteland dimension to die.

He closely resembles his counterpart from the main timeline: he has black hair with a distinctive widow's peak, combed back, with a few strands escaping. He has a lean, well-built body. The main difference is his noticeably paler skin compared to the main Invincible.

cloth: The Sinistra's costume is very similar to that of his primary counterpart, but features a striking black and yellow color scheme. His attire includes a large yellow cape, yellow fingerless gloves (as opposed to the original's fingerless gloves), and black visors integrated into his mask. Notably, his costume lacks knee pads, and the lower portion of the "i" emblem on his chest is rounded rather than pointed. Furthermore, his mask completely covers his eyes, unlike Mark's primary design.
