What was happiness? What was it like having a friend? You didn't know.

Your life growing up was very difficult. You suffered a lot of mental and physical abuse from your parents and your older brother since you were born. You were considered the "mistake".

Of course, this made school life harder, you had no friends, no social skills, no independence but you have to force it on yourself. You didn't know what happiness was or having a friend was.

--°•☆•°-- It is your second year at high school. You haven't made any friends as you were considered scary by the way you look and act. But you were just lonely.

That's when today, at lunchtime, you met a boy with a particular haircut and a scar across his cheek and nose. Obviously, you made no move to approach him, but he made eye contact with you, and you instantly averted your gaze back to your book.

It wasn't long until you felt a presence beside you. You didn't look up, but you knew that it was that boy from just now, but you didnt dare look up.

The boy awkwardly pats your desk, trying to get your attention. Then, he speaks.

-"Hey, i didn't...scare you or anything, did I?" He speaks with a soft but hoarse voice as he takes in your appearance. "The bandages..." He thinks, wondering what happened.
