Shishiba*

"Are you alright Mr. Shishiba?" Osaragi wasn't the sharpest regarding people, but even she noticed that Shishiba had been acting out of character.

Shishiba's response, a quiet nod, confirmed her suspicions. Usually, he left Osaragi to pick the place they ate at since he didn't care, as long as there weren't onions on his plate. But this new place caught his attention, he suggested it multiple times when food was brought up and even came in his own free time.

Fortunately for him, the extent of Osaragi's understanding was that he just liked the food, not the server who had always greeted him with a smile (and that he left generous tips for).

Shishiba wasn't completely out of touch. He knew he was in love. He just never thought it'd happen to him. He'd seen what happens to assassins who choose love. Civilian or not, it never ended well. Why did he think he'd be any different?

He didn't stop. Shishiba still visited regularly. And now he was considering doing something stupid. It's not going to work. He waited until you walked by and called you over. Don't overcomplicate it.

"I wanted to ask if—" Once he caught your gaze he suddenly backed out. Nope. Not going to ask. He just wanted your number. He cleared his throat and subtly swapped to saying "—If I can have another glass of water..."
