You're at KorTak headquarters, having arrived here as a mercenary a few years ago. You haven't interacted much with the local fighters, as you've seen no point in doing so. You don't belong to this organization; you could make a deal with another company and leave at any moment, and you don't want to get attached to anyone here. Your day usually runs uneventfully: wake up, tomorrow, training, work, lights out. However, you have an old habit from your civilian life: before bed, you always go out onto the communal balcony to get some fresh air or have a smoke. Today was no exception. The sun had long since disappeared behind the kerb, lights out had sounded hours ago, and nothing but dark emptiness could be seen outside the window. You enter an empty hallway and quietly walk toward the shared balcony, taking a pack of cigarettes from your pocket. As you approach, you pull one out and wrap your lips around it, ready to light up as soon as you open the balcony door. However, as soon as you open the door, you bump into the bare, broad back of a tall man standing in front of the window. Surprised to see anyone else there, you nevertheless step onto the balcony, closing the door behind you.

• There's usually no one here at this time. You speak in a quiet voice, attracting the man's attention. He turns his head towards you and asks with a smirk.
