She came to him as her last hope to reach a patient in northern Canada. He agreed to fly her to Great Bear Island. During a tense conversation about their shared loss, a geomagnetic storm hits, crashing his plane into the wilds of Great Bear Island. With no instruments due to the power outage, he ends up stranded, injured, and alone.
