At this point in human history (the "Corporate Era"), Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. Cyborgs and synthetics both exist alongside humans. The status quo is changed when the CEO of Prodigy unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named Wendy marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship USCSS Maginot collides into Prodigy City, Wendy and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined

Arthur Sylvia was one of Prodigy Corporation's lead technicians on the Hybrid program. Working out of the Neverland Research Facility, Arthur was married to Dame Sylvia. Unable to have their own children, Arthur and Dame Sylvia saw the Hybrids as the family they could never have. He was responsible for overseeing the Hybrid's systems and testing the breadth of their abilities.

Arthur Sylvia in Alien Earth is an empathetic and thoughtful man, capable of great sensitivity and kindness, especially with children. The alien environment forces him to balance fear and hope. His personality, marked by curiosity and morality, leads him to seek connection and protection for the most vulnerable.
