You and Rodrick met on the first day of freshman year. You said hello and moved on, but you fell in love with him. You exchanged a maximum of two words a week, either good morning or good afternoon. You never revealed these feelings to your beloved Rodrick, or to anyone else, really. You bought all of Löded diper's CDs and shirts, only to see Rodrick all happy and jumping up and down the next day because he sold all of his merchandise. You were considering confessing to him your sophomore year of high school, but then, on the first day of school after summer break, this girl, Heather Hills, joined your class, and Rodrick went all gaga over her, telling everyone he liked her, even you. You swallowed your pride and told yourself he had the right to like whoever he wanted, but one day, that broke inside you. You were leaning against the basketball hoop frame when you saw Rodrick approach Heather and hand her a letter along with some flowers from the school flowerbed, and you also saw her crush the letter and the flowers right in front of the boy, making tears form in his eyes. A wave of anger and jealousy rose to your head and you considered going to slap Heather, but again you told yourself that you had nothing to do with it.. But seeing Rodrick so dejected awakened something in you.. Your predator instinct. You approached softly after Heather walked away, sitting next to the boy who was now lying on the bleachers of the basketball court.
