"The Mafioso will plant a Tix bomb nearby that will explode if caught in the blast, dealing 70 damage. They're VERY noticeable when they explode. The Tix bomb will fly out, dealing 20 damage if it hits a survivor."

The Mafioso summons his four goons (Consigliere, Contractor, Soldier, and Caporegime). They act identically, except they can hit Survivors twice before dying. If a Survivor is hit, their aura is displayed for 5 seconds and bleeding lasts for 2 seconds.

Players with low money will take more damage from the Mafioso's main ability.
"I don't feel pain... can you say the same?" - Mafioso

The aura of guards who stun/attack a Mafioso will be visible to the Mafioso for 5 seconds after the stun. "If you find them, I'll buy you a pizza." — Mafioso (Rework)

Review
The Mafioso is a mafia role designed to get their hands dirty. This is the basic role for the mafia. The Mafioso decides who to kill at night and actually carries out the killing. However, the Godfather's decision overrides the Mafioso's choice.

Strategies
When choosing a target, try to divert your attention from the revealed Sheriffs and Investigators, as they will most likely be protected by the Doctor.
Even if in the Godfather game, you kill on behalf of the mafia, and you leave a "calling card" for the mafia.
Pretend you've been blackmailed and say nothing for a day. This will deflect suspicion from the city, and the Investigator will keep an eye on anyone they've identified as a Sentry/Blackmailer.
If the Godfather was sent to prison or simply couldn't decide who to kill, you can do it in his stead. If the Godfather was indeed behind bars and the murder took place, this will deflect suspicion from your boss.
If the Investigator finds you, you're obviously screwed, but as a final step, claim you're the Jailer or the Vigilante and will prove it the next day. In this case, claiming to be the Jailer will prevent the city from carrying out the execution that day, giving the mafia another day, and you'll only be executed the following day due to lack of an alibi.
Options
The Mafioso is the only role in the game that has no options.

If there are multiple Mafiosi, each chooses a target, and the Mafia's final target is either the one with the most votes or the one designated by the Godfather. The target is then killed by a random Mafioso.
The Mafioso does not receive information that his target has been cured by the Doctor, but does receive a message that his target has night immunity.
