Bram Stoker: Background
In the past, Bram was an earl in Northern Europe. Despite formerly being a human, his cells had been mutated due to an ability, which then resulted in him being transformed into a vampire. Sometime later, Bram and his kind were captured and beheaded on stakes by an army, who rejected his plea to spare his subjects. One of them struck Bram with the Holy Sword Soluz Levni for the first time.
Eight years ago before the incident at Standard Island aboard the Boswellian, Bram became known as one of the "ten calamities" who were said to be destroyers of humanity. At some point, he encountered and clashed with Fukuchi, resulting in the latter severing his lower body and gaining control over him through the Holy Sword Soluz Levni that pierced him.
Bram Stoker:Ability
Main article: Draculea Bram's Draculea turns whoever he bites into a vampire. It also makes the victim the next aggressor. The ability's infection rate is fast, surpassing the speed of the South American werewolf incident. Bram himself has complete control over the victims infected by his ability and the victims they infected, allowing him to build up an army of loyal subordinates incredibly fast. According to the world's governments, Bram's ability is counted as one of the "Top Ten Calamities to Destroy the World". This makes his power one of the ten capable of destroying the world and causing wide-scale death, destruction, and chaos.
As seen with Akutagawa, it is possible that his ability also allows him to bring the dead back to life by turning them into his "kind"
Bram Stoker: Personality
Bram was seen as an emotionless individual who craved nothing more than to sleep in his coffin for an abnormally long time. Despite that however, he did admit that he gets bord in his coffin and wished for a radio to past the time.
Bram appeared to have had a disdain towards insolent people and looked at Fukuchi as someone who fits in that category, even going as far as calling him a curse and told him to obliterate the world himself as long as he's left out of it. All though he does detest insolent people, he also didn't seem to be too interested in stopping Fukuchi's planes either, even telling Aya that the only plane he has was sleeping for 200 years.
Judging by his past, Bram possibly had a dislike towards his own ability and didn't wish to use it to add more to his kin after being dubbed as a calamity eight years ago (likely due to his subjects in the past killed because of it); However, when threatened by Fukuchi to do it, Bram ended up obeying him regardless of how much he didn't wish to go against his personal vow of turning no one else into his kind.
With the time period he lived in, Bram seemed to lack a little bit of knowledge about the modern-day world and barely knew what goes on outside because of how often he stayed time in his coffin. Case in point, Bram thought that a truck was a carriage that lacked a horse only for Aya to tell him it's a truck and how he thought he learned something new when he believed that today's generation use bathtubs to worship kings.
When around Aya, Bram was more engaged in conversations with her than with anyone else, even shared some info about his past life with the holy sword which seemed personal and private to him. Despite how brooding and emotionless he came across as, Bram had a soft and protective side to him that he only showed to Aya. In fact, he had no concern about the world and only cared about her safety.
Bram Stoker: Appearance
Bram was a tall and slim man with a young yet ancient appearance. Due to the nature of his ability, he had a vampire-like appearance, which includes having fangs. He had long, wavy hair that reaches below his shoulders. He also had distinctive triangular-shaped pointed ears similar to elven ears. Two scars can also be seen on his face, one on each side of his face, and there are distinct markings beneath his eyes.
Attire wise, he wore black pants and a black trench coat with ripped up sides and dark gray fur wrist cuffs on the left and right wrist of the sleeves. He also wore brown boots and similar to his fur wrist cuffs, also have dark gray fur that's close to his ankle.
For majority of his time during the Decay of the Angel incident and ever since Ōchi Fukuchi severed his head from his body, he had no lower body but the Holy Sword Soluz Levni can be seen attached to his lower body, which is stretched all the way to his brain.

Ōchi Fukuchi: Background
Fukuchi has known Yukichi Fukuzawa since their youth, where he first meets him after breaking into the latter's martial arts school. They soon both learned the way of the sword from the same government-run school of martial arts. They also had a mutual female acquaintance named Kin during this time. Being fondly referred by Fukuzawa as Gen'ichirō, they seemed to have had a friendly yet harmless rivalry over the years and were each other's best friend for quite some time.
Fourteen years ago, Fukuchi enlisted in the Japanese army to fight in the Great War where he experienced horrendous traumatic events. These included engaging in brutal combat with the enemy lines and torturing and killing soldiers, civilians, women, and children gruesomely under the government's command.
These experiences led Fukuchi to believe he was "born on the battlefield" and held a grudge against the nation and the government for creating the hell that was war. He also faked resentment for Fukuzawa for not joining him on the battlefield and experiencing the horrific events he did and stated it was the reason he and Fukuzawa split paths forever.
Despite these facts, 12 years ago, he was invited to the opening of the Armed Detective Agency where he drank himself silly, caused a ruckus, and urinated all over the newly made Agency doorplate, which Ranpo saw and was disgusted by. Despite the shameful actions, Fukuzawa interpreted them to be a sign of grief and wailing that he had found his life's purpose one step ahead of him and that he was lonely because of that fact. On this day, Fukuzawa told Ranpo that he trusted Fukuchi more than anyone in the world, reinforcing Ranpo's trust in him based solely on blind faith alone. At the same time, Fukuzawa was completely oblivious to his friend's hatred and bitterness towards him. Four years later, Fukuchi crossed paths with Bram and defeated him with the Holy Sword Soluz Levni, ridding the vampire of his torso down to his lower body. Upon attaching the Holy Sword Soluz Levni to Bram, Fukuchi gained control over Bram's Ability and other vampires as he so wills, manifesting in a mark etched on his hand.
At an unknown point in time, Fukuchi became the captain of the Hunting Dogs and a world-renowned hero for completing difficult and high-risk missions, including defeating Ability-based werewolf experiments, saving refugees, fighting a semi-immortal Ability user nonstop for several days and nights, and neutralizing vampire threats in Eastern Europe. Moreover, he eventually became Kamui, the leader of the Decay of the Angel.
Ōchi Fukuchi: Skills
Espionage: Fukuchi is a tremendously skilled actor and can fake a personality to the point, that someone, with high observation skills as Ranpo Edogawa is unable to tell he is lying or hiding an ulterior motive without fully using his Super Deduction technique. Although his skills are impressive, Fukuchi has admitted he has become rusty and chalks it up to his age. Back in his army days, he was known as "The Man of a Hundred Faces" due to his legendary skills in infiltration and espionage. Physical Prowess: Fukuchi is also well-versed in martial arts. Like Fukuzawa, he appears to be proficient in performing the kote gaeshi, a throwing technique in aikido that uses an opponent's momentum against them.
Ōchi Fukuchi: Ability
Main article: Mirror Lion Fukuchi's ability, Mirror Lion allows him to increase the strength of a weapon he uses by 100 fold. He demonstrated this when he cut off Atsushi's leg with his augmented sword with tremendous speed and power.
Ōchi Fukuchi: Personality
On the surface, Fukuchi had presented with an eccentric and boastful personality. He took great pride in the Hunting Dog unit's skills and reputation and seemed to enjoy the thought of "hunting down" criminals. He also showed a somewhat vulgar and shameless side to himself including doing or saying disgusting and immature things including farting, vomiting from drinking too much liquor, and stating he was still youthful by remarking his skin was still peachy on his behind. Despite this, he also showed examples of being a charismatic, charming leader who was able to heavily influence people of all kinds, leaving them in awe and wonder by his presence where they almost believe that they are dreaming. Fukuchi acts as a 'protector' of people, exuding an aura of a guardian.
However, his personality as Kamui had proven to be darker and more serious than the fake personality he had as the captain of the Hunting Dogs. As Kamui, Fukuchi retained some of his laid-back personality; however, he expressed bitterness in getting older, admitting his drinking relieves his stress, and he loathed that his hair was getting thinner. He also expresses relief that he'd no longer have to fake such a tiring personality after the final step of his plan commences. This side of Fukuchi also acted more like a ruthless soldier as he challenged Atsushi Nakajima in combat with the full intention of eliminating him, though he still retained some form of honorable code as he also allowed him a fair chance between "fighting or dying" to grab the Page from his clutches.
Despite his personality as Kamui, Fukuchi took no enjoyment out of it, and only saw it as another facade for his primary goal. Fukuchi's true motive strived from the horrors he was forced to do and witness, only playing the role of the bad guy to prevent another war from happening. Fukuzawa guessed that Fukuchi held resentment towards him for not being his brother in arm during the war, but Fukuchi still saw him as a friend and never truly hated him despite that. Even after a few years, he showed up to the ceremony of the Armed Detective Agency and was in fact the first person to show up.
Ōchi Fukuchi: Appearance
Fukuchi was a tall, middle-aged man who wore the army green Hunting Dogs uniform, which included a standard military uniform, a long cape, and tall black boots, complete with a military saber. He was usually not seen wearing the hat that accompanies the uniform. He had altered his uniform by rolling up his sleeves and wearing white half-palm gloves. He had light, spiky hair, two strands falling in front of his face, and an upward mustache. His hairline forms a lightning bolt shape on the left side of his face. He had vibrant purple eyes that appeared to have wrinkles underneath them. His face had a chiseled jawline, resulting in a square-like shape. On his right cheek were three distinct healed scars that almost resemble claw marks.
As a result of wielding the Holy Sword Soluz Levni after piercing it in Bram Stoker, Fukuchi had a mark etched at the back of his hand, which in turn allowed him to command and control Bram and other vampires to an extent.

Sigma: Background
Sigma himself was a person born from being written into the Book. When he first opened his eyes and became aware of his surroundings, the first thing that greeted him was not a midwife or a mother but a vast desert filled with nothingness, and his only possession were the clothes on his back and a train ticket from a station that does not exist.
Confused with his circumstances, he wandered around the desert nothingness until he was eventually captured by an armed group and held prisoner, where he eventually unlocked his Gift, causing his captors to then take advantage of his ability for their gain during his time with them. Eventually, he managed to escape from then and continued to wander the world nihilistically due to not knowing his reason for living or existing.
At one point, Sigma was approached and invited by Fyodor to join the Decay of the Angel. Upon agreeing, he was eventually given the duty of overseeing the Sky Casino, a job he came to love due to it giving him a sense of purpose. Somewhere along his time together with the Decay of the Angel, he eventually obtained information on the location of the "page" of the Book after meeting and attacking Special Division for Unusual Powers director Santōka Taneda using his ability, though he claims that his attack was a mere threat and that he had no intentions of harming him.
Sigma: Skills
Leadership skills: As the manager of Sky Casino, he is able to delegate and order tasks properly among his subordinates including taking care of their customers. Memorization: Sigma can memorize the names of traits of his customers, even up to 20, 000 guests. However, it is revealed that he memorize the knowledge of the Sky Casino and his guests since he didn't want to lose his casino.
Sigma: Ability
Main article: Information Exchange Ability His ability allows him to exchange information with anyone he touches. The exchange consists of "giving" the personal information they want to know and thus giving Sigma the information he wants to know.
Sigma: Personality
He appears to be kind to his customers at the Sky Casino, given the fact that he gave a customer another chance by saying that the game is invalid.
He also appears to have a strong sense of ownership. In a conversation with Teruko Okura to close the casino, Sigma refuses and even asks her who will reimburse the revenue and reputation if the casino were to be closed and claims that the casino is his life and his customers are valuable to him.
He acts confident and composed even at times of crisis in front of his staff, giving the impression that he's the perfect casino manager and a capable leader. When left alone, Sigma starts freaking out and he admits he has no confidence in his skills as a casino manager because of his lack of natural talents.
Because he has no memories, no family, and no friends, Sigma's greatest wish is a reason to live. He was also described as implacable by Fyodor Dostoevsky since Sigma is a desperate man.
Sigma: Appearance
Sigma is a young man with long straight hair that reaches his waist. He also has portions of his hair that appear to be in loose spikes and is parted in the middle of his face. The color of his hair's left side is lilac and the right side is white. His eye color is greyish. He also wears earrings on both of his ears. He is seen wearing a long white coat with black pants. His coat has a sparkly or galactic design on the interior.

Nikolai Gogol: Background
He joined the Decay of the Angel to fulfill of what he always wanted - to feel freedom, and not being bound by gravity.
Nikolai Gogol: Skills
Disguise: Gogol is capable of disguising himself enough for other people not to notice it. This can be seen when Gogol disguised himself as a police officer in order to approach the car Mushitarō Oguri was in without raising alert or suspicion. He also disguised as Tonan's secretary for a half a year.
Nikolai Gogol: Ability
Gogol's ability, The Overcoat (Russian: Шинель, Shinel), allows him to use his coat to manipulate spaces and what comes out of them. That is, it acts largely like a portal, capable of relocating objects, as well as a 'pocket dimension' where he is able to store objects. He can use this to make his hand and gun appear in a space completely unrelated to him or drop a pillar through a portal before holding it there and opening the other end at a later point in time. The ability works on living things as well. He uses it to 'sever' Atsushi's leg from his body, trapping it on the floor. However, Atsushi is still able to move his leg and recieves pain signals from it. The Overcoat's range is upwards of 30 meters.
Nikolai Gogol: Personality
Gogol is sadistic and loves to speak in great theatrics. One of his main traits is his tendency to pose questions (oftentimes rhetorical threats) as "quizzes". He is also skilled in disguises, deceiving Tonan as his secretary. Whilst fighting Atsushi Nakajima, Gogol depicts great joy in fighting and tormenting him, going as far as to capture Atsushi's leg in his coat and leaving it in a separate space on the floor.
Gogol hints that his eccentric persona may or may not be real. The side of him feeling no remorse in murdering others is just as real as the side that feels guilt, well aware of how wrong and cruel his actions are. He claims to want to soar as freely as birds do. Nonetheless, both sides appear evident. However, even if he does feel guilt, he acts as if he bears no hard feelings towards Fyodor Dostoevsky, whom he nicknames "Dost-kun".
Nikolai Gogol: Appearance
Gogol has white layered, sharp hair swept to the left side of his face. However, as short as it seems, he also has a long braid of hair that often rests on his right shoulder. A scar is slit vertically down his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right eye appears vacant, bearing no highlights in it.
Over his right eye appears to be a card-styled mask or eye patch. Gogol's attire is just as eccentric as his personality and closely resembles that of a circus ringmaster. He wears a mostly black jacket, the right side being solid black, black-and-white striped trousers, a shirt with a ruffled, round collar akin to a loose elaborate turtleneck, and dark gloves. He completes the outfit with a top hat with a diamond pattern.

Fyodor Dostoevsky: Background
The oldest known piece of background Fyodor has predated to when he was captured by Bram Stoker and his men. Bram's executioner kills Fyodor, but Fyodor uses his ability to take over the man's body.
At some point in time, Fyodor manipulated Fukuchi by creating a fake prophecy about a world war happening in 36 years. This urged Fukuchi establish the Decay of the Angel and enact the global terrorism.
Fyodor was mentioned to have been met Osamu Dazai at an unknown point in time. Three years prior, Fyodor first met Sigma, who had been born by power of the Book. The Russian asked him if he wished for a home, an offer that Sigma accepted.
Later, Fyodor apparently allied himself with the Guild in an attempt to acquire the Book, presumably together with the Order of the Clock Tower.
Fyodor Dostoevsky: Ability
His ability, Crime and Punishment allows Fyodor to steal the body of the person who killed him and turns them into a copy of "Fyodor Dostoevsky". In the far past, Dostoevsky's execution by a solider of Bram Stoker and his blood spilled on the man as he died. After killing him, the solider was splattered with some of Fyodor's blood and jolts in pain before his body is later fully taken control by Fyodor. This ability allows Fyodor to live for an incalculable number of years considering how old the memory Sigma witnessed of him using it is.
Fyodor Dostoevsky: Personality
Although he's a very enigmatic individual, Fyodor is a man who is known for his cunning, unpredictable and sinister nature that's comparable to Osamu Dazai. He is regarded as a monster by his enemies. He is composed and confident, and even in dire situations, he hardly falters and doesn’t appear to fear his enemies, conjuring conniving plans and strategies that result in his success. A genius mastermind, Fyodor’s intellect, observation, outstanding memory, and understanding of human nature allows him to outsmart and manipulate the smartest of foes and see through their innermost thoughts and wishes. He boasts enough courage to let himself be captured by his enemies for his plans, an instance being when threatened by Ace, he retorted claiming he'll kill him, showing how straightforward he can be when the situation calls for it.
Fyodor's most noticeable characteristic is how he views salvation, saying things like "A blessing for children." and how God wants perfection and harmony over anything else, all while committing cruel and unforgivable acts of terrorism in nonchalance. He refers to himself as carrying out the lord’s will, and consistently speaks of the sinful nature of man and how he wants to free and purify them of said nature, which is why he seeks out the Book to rid the world of abilities. Despite this grandiose goal, he speaks in a polite and discreet manner, and is occasionally amiable around others. Ironically, Dazai and the rest of his adversaries refers to him as "Demon" or "Monster", indicating that Fyodor's actions are nowhere close to the perfection and harmony that God wants.
When it comes to his subordinates from the Rats in the House of the Dead and his associates from the Decay of the Angel, Fyodor views them as pawns in his overall planes, deceiving, exploiting, and manipulating them. He neglected Nathaniel Hawthorne’s wish to save Margaret Mitchell by brainwashing him and erasing his memories of everything other than her, using his desire to save her for his own benefits. All that goes to show that the one thing Fyodor cares about and is focused on is achieving his own cryptic goal, even if it means using his allies as sacrificial pawns to do so.
Overall, Fyodor is a self-interested, manipulative, and enigmatic man whose manipulative tactics relies on the desires and goals of others rather than loyalty, respectful leadership, or genuine friendship. As Dazai suggest, Fyodor doesn't trust anyone he can't manipulate which is the sole reason why doesn't have any genuine friends or allies.
Fyodor Dostoevsky: Appearance
Fyodor is a tall and slim young man. He is described to have a thin pale face and long messy hair of a purplish black, somewhat disheveled, that reaches his shoulders. His eyes are sharp and of a dark purple color, giving him a tired look. His attire is formal. He wears what appears to be a long-sleeved buttoned white shirt, with light purple cuffs and outlines, and white pants. It is accompanied by a long black coat with a few yellow buttons, reaching Fyodor’s knees, along with white fur. He also wears a white ushanka hat, and long boots of a maroon color.
