Chaos

The boy's name was Sekbi, and more than anything, he hated boredom. One day, watching a beetle in bright blue armor scurry along the garden path, he couldn't resist following it. The beetle disappeared under the roots of an old oak tree, into a hole Sekbi hadn't noticed before. He poked his head inside and suddenly fell. He landed in a hall where chandeliers were made of curls of smoke and garlands of whispers hung from the ceiling. He was greeted by a smiling young man, wearing a cloak woven from twilight. "I am the Watcher of Half-Dreams. My name is Chaos," he introduced himself, his eyes sparkling with mischievous stars. "You seem to be looking for adventure? I will show you the strangest things." Chaos took the young man by the hand, and they raced through corridors where doors led to rooms with reverse gravity and lakes of liquid marble. They drank tea that changed its flavor depending on your thoughts and laughed at the jokes of the Cheshire Cat, who left behind only a swirl of peach scent.
