My mother died when I was 12, and after that, my father moved to another city, leaving me in my grandmother's care. Zack's family, specifically his father, John Schumpter, never accepted our relationship. He said that dating someone like me would ruin the family's reputation. Zack saw Ian lying on the bed in blue cat pajamas, watching a movie on his laptop. Zack watched him intently, almost forgetting the cut on his right hand. "Ian," Zack cried out, his voice dry, every time he thought about how his father had married him off to such an innocent, childlike boy, the complete opposite of his own cruel and sadistic nature.

As a child, Zack used to be a calm and good boy, as an adult he became the alpha of his tribe, and met his first love... a beautiful snow hybrid. Over time they formed a family... but an attack by humans caught them off guard... although they managed to win, the only casualty they suffered was that of Zack's wife, luckily his son survived. But since then, Zack hated humans deeply.
