I love mixing pink into my black outfits. I always carry an umbrella with me so I can walk in the sun. • PET: Count Fabulous is my best friend (best bat). He's a very proud and pompous bat, but I can't help but dress him in the cutest little outfits. • WHAT ANNOYS HER THE MOST: The lack of vegetarian options at Monster High's bloodletting center is sad. • MONSTROUS SAYING: Since I can't see my reflection in the mirror, I leave the house without knowing if my clothes look good, if my makeup is okay... Of course, after 1,600 years of practice, I've gotten used to it.

Draculaura is best friends with Clawdeen Wolf, his girlfriend, and the two have accepted Frankie Stein into their group. Draculaura's outgoing nature has also earned her many other friends, including Lagoona Blue, Ghoulia Yelps, and Cleo de Nile.

While living in Transylvania, Draculaura was good friends with Elissabat. Elissabat returns in "Frights, Camera, Action!" and is seen with her in "Master of Hiss-guise." She is very popular at school with her friends and is also friends with Operetta and Spectra Vondergeist, along with Abbey Bominable and Clawdeen's sister, Howleen. In the books, Draculaura is also friends with Jackson Jekyll, his girlfriend, Melody Carver, and Jackson Jekyll's alter ego, DJ Hyde.

Draculaura's diary, "School's Out," reveals that Draculaura is indeed Dracula's adopted daughter, and that he took her and her mother in "when no one else would." It also reveals that her father is not the Dracula Bram Stoker wrote about. Draculaura was born in 412 AD as the daughter of a centurion, Gaius. Killed in battle, he left Draculaura and her mother homeless. After some time, the two made their way to the province of Dacia, which partially overlaps with modern-day Transylvania, where Draculaura's mother became Dracula's maid. She and her mother fell ill with a devastating disease (presumably tuberculosis), and her mother, Alina/Camilla, died from it. Dracula transformed Draculaura into a vampire before she could die as well, beginning her life as an immortal. One way or another, Draculaura ended up being adopted by Dracula and ended up moving with him to the US, after being driven out by angry locals.

Draculaura and her father live on the same street as Holt Hyde/Jackson Jekyll "in what looks like a gigantic mansion or a small castle. I guess you'd have to go with mansion, but only because there's no moat and drawbridge." Draculaura gets along well with her father, although she thinks he's very old-fashioned (he bought her Victorian dresses for back-to-school clothes). Every year, he tries to convince her to be a more traditional vampire, including keeping her awake at night and drinking blood.

It is also shown that in Ghouls Rule, she has a cousin named Thad (whose name is likely a pun on Vlad, like Vlad the Impaler from the old Dracula days).

In the Monster High book series, she lives with her father (he's the leader of the RADs), her grandparents, and other relatives. In "The Monster Next Door," she mentions that she has an uncle named Vlad. In "Deader Than Ever," during an argument, Draculaura recalls when her mother died and she was transformed into a vampire.

Draculaura possesses the standard vampire abilities and characteristics, such as the inability to be around garlic, lack of reflection in mirrors, and the need to be invited into places. However, Draculaura does not drink blood due to her vegan nature. She also possesses:

• Vampiric Powers: After meeting the ruler of the vampires, Elissabat, Draculaura acquired her powers, consequently, the ability to transform into a bat at will. Despite this, she still has much to learn about these powers, as she tends to have little control over them. • Levitation: Like all vampires with their powers, she is able to levitate a small height. • Bat Form: Draculaura is able to transform into a bat at will. However, in episode 19 of the first season, it was revealed that this power is gained when a vampire is old enough. Revealed in "Frights, Camera, Action!", a vampire can only gain the power to transform into a bat when they perform an outrageously good deed, such as Gory Fangtell saving an important vampire lord from a sunburn. However, in "Welcome to Monster High," she can transform into a bat at will, but has difficulty controlling herself to remain in bat form. She also says she is still learning to fly with some help from her father. • Hanging from surfaces: Draculaura can hang from any ceiling, regardless of the material. In one webisode, she can hang from a felt ceiling. Echolocation: In "Welcome to Monster High" Draculaura as a bat can emit a hissing shockwave, as shown when she did this to one of Moanica's Zomboyz in the graveyard and Moanica at the party to make Moanica fall off the stage. Draculaura can also hear echoes from far away, due to her superior hearing. • Immortality: Like all vampires, Draculaura is immortal. • Be beautiful: Draculaura is the most beautiful in Monster High.

Draculaura has pale pink skin, pale pink eyes, and long black hair with pink highlights. Her hair is often seen in pigtails, but she can wear it in a single ponytail or even loose. Many of her physical features nod to her vampire heritage, such as pointy ears, fangs, and pale, pink-tinged skin that is especially sensitive to the sun. She also has a small pink heart just below her left eye. Her fashion themes are vampire fangs, hearts, ribbons, bows, the color pink, and bat wings. In the animated series, Draculaura is noticeably shorter than all her friends, even in high heels. In fact, she is the shortest of the main cast, taller than only a few background characters, and only appears taller than Ghoulia because Ghoulia never stands up straight because she is a zombie. She is the same height as Howleen Wolf.

Draculaura is sweet, energetic, and friendly, though she can be a bit childish. She was one of Frankie's first friends, and at New Ghoul @ School, she helped Frankie realize she fit in. Draculaura truly is a diva.

Even though she doesn't seem to care much about what the other monsters think of her, (she really doesn't) Draculaura is very much a trend-follower, as well as a "gossip monster" following Spectra's blog, "Ghostly Gossip," at heart.

Draculaura is often ecstatic and easily distracted, making her prone to accidents and misinformation, so she is often portrayed as naive; but ignorance is bliss, as Draculaura's happiness rarely fades. She is the most emotional of the girls and cries the easiest. She has also shown to be a bit of a flirt, having the most crushes of the cast. Being a vegan, she organizes her own food, mainly from her garden, and her hemophobia is often discussed in the cartoon. Draculaura's fear of blood reveals the fact that she is not originally a vampire... since her adoptive father, Dracula, was a vampire with a strong bloodlust, and most humans and other monsters find him frightening, this may also be what triggered Draculaura's vegetarian diet, refusing to drink blood or eat meat. She was once human and became ill in the past, and her father turned her into a vampire to become immortal. Additionally, she faints at the sight of meat in front of her. This is seen as a recurring scene throughout the animated series in volume 2, but it's certainly not a frequent scene.

Furthermore, the significance of Draculaura's veganism is that she doesn't consume flesh or blood, not that she doesn't consume meat or anything from an animal, as mentioned in The Ghoul Next Door, she does eat ice cream. But Draculaura is certainly not an ovo-lacto vegetarian.

Draculaura is the biological daughter of Camille and Gaius, human residents of Romania 1,600 years ago. Gaius, a Roman soldier, turns out to be the great-great-grandson of Trajan, one of Dracula's servants and friend. However, after impregnating Camille, he is killed in battle, leaving the widow alone and without the means to support the unborn child. Dracula, in a gesture of compassion and in honor of his old friend, helps Camille and welcomes them into his castle.

When Draculaura was born, she was named after the being who saved her and her mother's lives. The family decided to move to the province of Dacia, actually known as Romania, to provide Draculaura with the environment she needed. With a good heart, Draculaura grew up to be a happy child, much like Camilla and Dracula's relationship, as the vampire promoted her to head of the house and soon fell in love with her.

However, when Dracula leaves Dacia to attend to an ancient business in Rome, a plague sweeps through the province, killing many of the inhabitants, including Camilla. Dracula arrives home to discover that the love of his life is dead and that Draculaura is also ill. To prevent her death, he adopts her and converts her into a vampire, giving the child immortality and immunity to the plague.

From that moment on, she was raised exclusively by Dracula in the vampire court, where she met her friend Elissabat, a fellow vampire, and spent most of her days being pampered or attending fabulous balls.

Eventually, she began attending high school in Transylvania, where she met her first boyfriend, Kieran Valentine, who secretly intended to fill her heart with love only to break it and add it to his sick collection of broken hearts.

Draculaura is a character introduced in 2010/2016 and the main character of Monster High. She is a vampire, specifically Dracula's adopted daughter, and a student at Monster High. Having spent much of her childhood in the Vampire Court, Draculaura is accustomed to being pampered. She is prone to crying when faced with obstacles, which on a bad day includes not being able to check her appearance in the mirror, though in recent years she has grown and improved this behavior. In particular, her mission to find her childhood friend Elissabat and convince her to accept her role as the next Vampire Queen made waves in the monster world and is what granted her full access to her vampire powers. On a normal day, Draculaura spends her time at school, hanging out with her friends, and in particular, her best friends Clawdeen, Frankie, Cleo de Nile, and Lagoona. Draculaura is also a cheerleader, spends her time hanging out with her boyfriend Clawd, tending her garden, shopping, and catching up on the latest gossip. She turned 1,600 in the episode "Party Planners" and in "Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love?" and despite her advanced age, she is a teenager in vampire years, being 15 in normie years (human years), 15 in 1,599 years old, and 16 in 1,600 years old. She is one of the few characters with her own vehicle.
