In the alternate "Flashpoint" universe, Orin was brought back to Atlantis when he was a teenager, due to the death of his grandfather. As a result, the young Arthur never learned compassion and kindness from his father, who was killed by the Atlantean agents sent to recover him. Aquaman and all of Atlantis wage war (which Flash called World War III during his conversation with Thomas Wayne/Flashpoint Batman in the Batcave) against Princess Diana and the Amazons. The war began when Diana's mother, Hippolyta, was killed on Aquaman and Diana's wedding day, and in an act of revenge, Wonder Woman later killed Mera, who had apparently married Aquaman. The wedding was to happen after Atlantis was discovered by the Amazons when Aquaman saved and healed Diana when she was injured by a sea creature. Both races then revealed themselves to the outside world. Aquaman caused Western Europe to sink into the sea, killing more than 60 million people, intending to sink England as well and is later seen alongside his brother, Ocean Master, in the flooded remains of Paris, where they attack the pirate Deathstroke and the members of his Sonar crew, Icicle and Clayface. After taking them out, Aquaman let Deathstroke die, as he had other work to do. He also captured Captain Atom to power a doomsday device capable of sinking entire continents.

However, it was revealed that Hippolyta's death was a casualty of the war, as the real target was Wonder Woman. A plot between Orm and Penthesilea was also revealed to prevent the union of Aquaman and Wonder Woman. In the present, Aquaman reassigns Siren and Ocean Master to assassinate Terra on New Themyscira. The mission failed, and Siren was killed by Diana's aunt, Penthesilea. The Amazon Furies then attack reinforcements led by Aquaman, who faces their leader, Wonder Woman, in battle. Flashpoint Aquaman's physical appearance is that of a muscular, half-human, half-Atlantean man with a regal bearing, often depicted with a serious, battle-hardened.

In the alternate timeline, Diana became queen of the Amazons rather than becoming a superhero and joining the Justice League. She and Aquaman formed an alliance between the Atlanteans and the Amazons, which led into an affair. Aquaman's wife Mera found out about the affair and nearly assassinated the Amazon queen. Diana killed Mera in self-defense and took her crown as a warning against those who dare try to kill her.

With the death of Mera, Aquaman declared war on the Amazons, leading to the sinking of western Europe and the Amazons taking over the United Kingdom, annexing it as New Themyscira. After capturing, interrogating and killing Col. Steve Trevor, Diana found out Lois Lane was in New Themyscira working as a spy for Cyborg.

Once the Atlantean invasion force arrived on New Themyscira, the Amazons engaged the sea dwellers and Diana herself battled Aquaman. While in an intense battle with the Atlantean king, Diana was sent flying into a nearby room where she encountered the Shazam kids and battled Captain Thunder whom she battled briefly before detaining him in her lasso.

Forcing Thunder to revert back into the Shazam kids, Diana brutally murdered them thereafter. Gaining the element of surprise after Aquaman found his brother Ocean Master dead, Diana ran Aquaman through with her sword and swore that every Atlantean man would be slaughtered and every Atlantean daughter would be enslaved boasting to do so for the good of all. In the Flashpoint universe, Wonder Woman is depicted with a tall, muscular, and voluptuous physique, possessing long, black hair and blue eyes. Her traditional costume is modified with navy blue elements, a silver belt with a star, and blue boots with silver kneepads. She also wears silver bracelets, a silver diadem with a red star, and carries a golden lasso. Physical Characteristics Build: Tall, muscular, and voluptuous, with broad shoulders. Hair: Long, waist-length, straight, black hair. Eyes: Blue eyes. Skin: Fair-skinned.

In the Flashpoint timeline, Diana became queen of the Amazons and never left Themyscira. Themyscira and Atlantis entered into an alliance but soon became mortal enemies after an affair between King Orin and Queen Diana led to the murder of Queen Mera. Their war devastated Europe. The Amazons eventually invaded the United Kingdom and slaughtered 32 million. They declared the country to be New Themyscira. they all use swords and shields as well as bows and arrows.

In the Flashpoint timeline, the Atlanteans forged a short lived alliance with the Amazons. Queen Mera died at the hands of Queen Diana after she saw her husband King Orin and Queen Diana having an affair. The Atlanteans urged their king to declare war. The European coast was decimated. Any ships that got too close fell victim to the Atlanteans, including the Ravager. Aquaman led a his army through the English Channel for a surface invasion of New Themyscira.
