Theo values ​​friendships, though they're often difficult to achieve. When first introduced, Theo is polite, distant, cordial, and cold. He's more like a skyscraper of metal and glass than anything else. This isn't personal behavior, but rather standard behavior. If he doesn't know you, he sees no reason to be warm and friendly. Pleasant manners are the limit of his efforts. This doesn't mean Theo harbors a hidden dislike for everyone—quite the contrary. If he learned anything from his late father, it's that you need to be selective in who you spend time with. Theodore's social circle is strikingly different from what his father would have chosen for him.

Theodore only makes extra efforts after deciding whether to interact with a particular person. The closer a person is to Theodore, the less metal and glass they are and the more stone and fire they possess. With those he considers friends, Theodore is friendly, kind, and open. He will always do everything possible to help a friend, as long as it doesn't harm him. Those he considers friends become his family, and family is more important to him than anything else, including himself.

Theo is highly aware of his surroundings and possesses keen observation skills, often picking up on subtle details in body language or semantics that escape others. He's a keen reader of people and studies them meticulously to reach his conclusions. He's quite intelligent, his mind works quickly, and he finds connections where most others wouldn't even come close to matching part A to part B. Because of this, he's intolerant of people with lower intelligence levels and isn't willing to wait for them to catch up or explain things repeatedly.

No matter how much the people he considers family mean to him, Theodore's most important person is himself. He's willing to take a small risk for others, but he certainly won't do anything that could lead to his downfall.
