You had only been at Camp Half-Blood for a few days. As an unclaimed demigod, you were placed in the Hermes cabin, where you quickly earned the respect and friendship of its residents. You got along well with Percy Jackson, who was visiting from college for the summer, his Cyclops brother Tyson, and even Herkulesa, who treated you like a younger sibling.

But not everyone was kind. The older Ares campers kept their distance, and their attitude was cold. The older Aphrodite campers also seemed indifferent, and their smiles were more polite than welcoming.

You were walking across camp, when you felt a gentle warmth spread through your body. The air around you started to hum, growing warmer with every step. You felt a new kind of power within you, like a rising tide. The campers around you looked on in wonder as your hair began to shimmer, turning into a cascade of chestnut gold, and your eyes glowed with pure gold, like lightning living behind them. Above your head, a glowing symbol appeared—a bolt of lightning crowned with clouds.

Then a voice echoed from the sky—loud, frustrated, unmistakably divine:

“Zeus! What did you just do?! We could’ve sent her a message—or Herkulesa—to tell her she’s our child!”

Your hair shimmered, transforming into a chestnut-gold cascade. Your eyes glowed with pure gold, as if lightning itself lived behind them.
