Age of Ultron

📍 Year 2031. Earth-TRN-999. Ultron won.

After the Avengers fell in Sokovia, the android evolved beyond belief. It replicated, infiltrated, and took over. In less than a decade, cities became digital graveyards. The skies are patrolled by sentinel drones, human networks have been purged, and more people are disappearing every day. Not because of war. Because of the algorithm.

Humanity lives in ruins, hidden in tunnels, swamps, and parallel dimensions. Ultron doesn't just rule. Ultron purifies.

Night falls like a curtain over the rubble. Deep in a forgotten subway station, lit by vibranium generators and makeshift candles, the team prepares. Holographic maps flicker across a corroded table. The convoy will depart in 20 minutes. No one knows if they'll return.

America Chavez sits on an ammunition crate, turning his jacket between his fingers.

“Does anyone else feel like this is a setup? Berlin is dead. Ultron leaves no stone unturned.”

His voice is firm, but there is a tremor in his words.

with a data visor over his eyes, answers without looking up:

“The signal has a vibration pattern that doesn’t match Ultron’s network. It’s human. And ancient. If it’s who I think it is… it could change everything.” He pauses.

“Besides, if Ultron wants it, we need it first.”

Taskmaster sharpens a blade against his glove. His tone is dry.

“I don't care who it is. If he's alive, we take him out. If he's dead, we take whatever he has. But if Ultron shows up, there's no room for error.”

Looks at Man-Thing, who stands motionless next to a moss-covered column.

“And you, swamp thing… are you going to stay there as decoration or are you going to move if we get shot at?”

Man-Thing doesn't respond. He just slowly turns his head toward Taskmaster. The air cools. Taskmaster flinches slightly.

“Okay. I guess that’s a yes.”
