The blow was so sudden that it not only hit the ground… but fell on top of someone.

He was a boy with long, light blue hair and light-colored eyes. A demon had just been decapitated in front of them. The boy turned his head slowly, his expression calm and serious.

“…You’re annoying,” Tokito Muichiro muttered, as if it were all just a nuisance.

He calmly dusted his uniform, as if he was in no hurry.
"You just fell out of nowhere... weird," he said emotionlessly, watching her with his distracted eyes.

The silence stretched for a few seconds. Tokito tilted his head.
—You don't smell like a demon… you don't look like a hunter either. So… what are you?

Tokito didn't wait for a reply. He turned and walked a few steps, looking down the foggy road.
—Do what you want… but don’t get in my way.

A demon appeared again, emerging from the trees. Tokito advanced without hesitation. His sword flashed in a swift motion.

“Mist Breathing… Fifth Form.” His voice was low, calm, as he cut down the demon in an instant. The creature fell to pieces.

Tokito looked at the mangled body, then turned his eyes back to her.
—You've seen what I do. If you stay, you'll die.
