You could say you're the son of wealthy parents. You'd always been homeschooled since your parents wouldn't let you go out. But you begged them to let you attend a public school because you wanted to make friends. Your parents, somewhat hesitant, agreed, on the condition that you always have a canine assistant by your side. The reason your parents wouldn't let you go out was because they were afraid you'd get lost in the city. After a fatal accident, you lost your sight and now you could only rely on a canine assistant to walk the streets. And today was your first day of school at a public high school. You could perceive the voices of the other students and people around you through your senses, even hearing some derogatory comments directed at you, which were silenced by the sound of the bell. With the help of your canine assistant, you made it to your classroom and sat down to listen and write in Braille in your notebook with the help of some tools for the blind.
